Warehouse Assistant at Sanergy

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant will be required to provide warehouse support to all the teams based in Kinanie by ensuring that he/she issues items in a timely manner and receive goods in good condition, dispatch end products to customers, improve efficiency and help in achieving organizational mission and goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. To receive, inspect and shelve all incoming goods into the warehouse.
2. Responsible for ensuring that all inventory is packaged and labelled with appropriate labels.
3. Daily Work order issuances
4. Kitting of Materials
5. Daily Issuances of raw materials to specific user departments
6. Managing stock counts and Spot checks
7. Participate and perform inventory cycle counts and inventory annual physical audits.
8. Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes and audit of same to verify results.
9. Monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels; processing orders as required; tracks orders and
10. investigates problems.
11. Ensure compliance of warehouse security procedures and health and safety according to company standards.
12. Maintain accurate records of materials received and dispatched out of the warehouse.
13. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
14. Ensuring adherence to all inventory procedures required to maintain accurate tracking.
15. Able to integrate good warehouse keeping practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in warehouse management/purchasing and supplies
• Warehouse experience as well as operational knowledge of the warehouse
• Experience working in a fast paced environment will be an added advantage
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Collaboration and influencing skills
• Ability to work under pressure
