Workshop Supervisor at Jonerics Cargo Forwarders Limited

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring timely and quality vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance for the company fleet
• Supervise mechanics and workshop staff, allocating tasks and monitoring performance
• Ensure availability of spare parts, tools, and equipment; manage inventory and procurement needs
• Diagnose recurring mechanical issues and implement corrective measures
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and repair reports
• Enforce workshop safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Control workshop costs and identify opportunities to reduce downtime and expenses.
• Liaise with the operations team to minimize vehicle downtime and support fleet availability

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Diploma in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Applicants must be 40 years and above
• Proven experience managing a vehicle workshop or fleet maintenance operation
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of heavy commercial vehicle systems (engine, transmission, hydraulics, electrical)
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
