JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT
Manage the review, update and maintenance of static data in the front end treasury system (Calypso) and acts as the Compliance risk champion within the Financial Markets Operations(FMO) and own the RCSA processes within the sub-units
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & PERCENTAGE TIME SPENT
- Ensure correct mapping for fixed income security set up and new products in the treasury front
- end system (30%)
- Daily analysis of reports for financial markets operation from BI and other channels to ensure
- operational risks are mitigated. (30%)
- Tracking and monitoring action plans emerging from completion of RCSA (20%)
- Managing process for evaluating Operational risks within FMO & escalate to senior level(20%)

- Five years’ experience in banking operations with specific experience in treasury operations.
- Two years’ experience in supervisory role.
- AKIB(K) and/or other relevant professional qualifications in Treasury operations and risk would be an added advantage.
- Practical experience in use of relevant MS Office applications.

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT
Managing the integrity of the group treasury position accounts and related outstanding items in reconciliation and ensuring prompt settlement of foreign and money market dealings in line with CBA group finance and administration policy guidelines.

- Adequacy of personal and staff competence to effectively perform treasury validation activities(10%).
- Effectiveness of unit and systems (policies, processes, procedures and tools) in achieving compliance requirements, resource utilization and cost containment (10%).

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT
The purpose of this role is to develop and maintain a conducive employee relations environment through providing business with guidance on labour laws and practices, staff welfare, discipline and grievances issue as well as involvement in maintaining positive relationships with the Union. The role is responsible for developing and ensuring consistent application of employee relations policies and procedures as well as monitoring of staff motivation levels with a view of promoting employee satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & PERCENTAGE TIME SPENT
Employee Relations–35%
Contribute to the development and implementation of ER strategy across the bank in conjunction with theGroup Head of HR and Senior Management Team.
Grievance and Disciplinary Management–35%
Manage the administration of all discipline/grievance issues as per discipline /grievance procedure.
Staff Satisfaction–10%
Manage and implement tools aimed at getting feedback from staff :
Separation/ Exit Management–10%
Work with the relevant work areas to ensure that all exits are done as per the Employment Act andcompany policy
Staff Welfare Activities-10%
Provide guidance to line managers on behaviour management and effective counselling to staff.
COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of Labour/Employment law and its practical application as well as a good understanding of the Bank’s Collective Bargaining Agreement between the local Union and Employer’s representative body

- Any additional qualifications in Employee or Industrial Relations would be an added advantage
- 4 years’ experience in human resource management or a related discipline with at least 2 years’ experience specifically in labor and employee relations management
- Knowledge of current trends and practices in HR
- Proficiency in use of MSoffice tools.
