    Transmission Controller

    Ref: HRD/TC/5/ 2022

    Royal Media Services Limited is recruiting for the Transmission Controller position. We are looking for an experienced Transmission controller to support our Digital Function. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate, effective, and smooth management and running of all transmission on Royal Media Services Online Livestream channels.

    The jobholder’s role will further include the following:

    • Planning and Scheduling for Playout of all live streams
    • Coordination with the Technical teams and other internal functions, to ensure seamless flow of all Live Events on the digital platforms.
    • Quality Control and thorough checking of all relevant media elements online.
    • Spot checking of and monitoring of online channels and streams
    • Operating of computerized single and multi-channel Playout equipment
    • Be aware of and able to deploy disaster recovery plans
    • Ensure planning for standby and/or Emergency situations and content for unforeseen circumstances.
    • Awareness of current affairs and their effect on online transmission and management processes.
    • Monitor competitor channels and live stream environment.

    Academic and Professional Experience

    • Diploma in Technical/ Media studies
    • Experience in a technology-driven environment where service provision is critical
    • Knowledge of Live stream transmission systems and equipment
    • Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations.
    • Media technical background
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.

    Social Media Officer-Marketing

    Ref: HRD/SMO/5/ 2022

    Royal Media Services Limited is seeking to recruit a highly qualified person for the above position. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the job holder will be responsible for the creation of wholesome, appealing, and exciting content across the RMS brands’ social media pages, for the purpose of creating demand for the said brands, within our online target audience. He/she will promote all online & traditional platforms in a bid to grow the market share & maximize revenue.

    The Social Media Officer’s role will include the following:-

    • Come up with both long-term and short-term strategies for each of the RMS brands, on Social Media for approval and execution.
    • Coordinate the internal processes around the creation and uploading of the Social Media Messaging.
    • Monitor Consumer Feedback and Questions and Concerns shared on our Social Media Platforms and coordinate timely responses.
    • Ensure all social media platforms are updated regularly with the latest information.
    • Advise supervisor on new trends in online tools, applications, channels, design & strategy
    • Liaise with the Commercial Teams to create campaigns that can be commercialized
    • Execute & monitor internal and external social media communication campaigns
    • Monitor campaign feedback & adjust or augment campaigns accordingly

    Marketing Executive - Brand Coordination

    Royal Media Services Limited is seeking to recruit a highly qualified person for the Marketing Executive- Brand Coordination position. The job- holder will be responsible for the overall role of brand building and development for the products and platforms within the organization. Reporting to the Marketing Director, he/she will execute the entire Royal Media Services brand plans and will also be responsible for the creation of demand for the Royal Media corporate as a whole, while maintaining the independence of the various product brands on Radio and Television and Digital.

    The role will include the following:-

    • Execute plans that shall grow and maintain the Brand Equity for the various platforms within the group.
    • Design overall long-term and short-term Brand Strategy and Brand Plans for approval and execution.
    • Be the critical link between the brand trade activities and internal organization planning processes and communication.
    • Cross-functional internal coordination on matters of brand management
    • Key custodian of all brand communication.
    • Manages and executes internal cross-promotional activities across Radio, Television, and Digital.
    • Establishes and executes strategic partnerships with other organizations in the Public and Private sector for the purpose of building on the RMS Brands’ Equity.
    • Economic management of agreed brand budgets for the year.
    • In coordination with the Station Heads, Develop and Implement Trade Marketing Activities for Radio as well as television
    • Implements systems and processes to monitor brand performance

    Digital Video Producer

We are looking for a trained creative Digital Video Producer with great creative, production, and organizational skills. The job holder is expected to be highly creative, digitally savvy, passionate about the online space, and bearing great attention to detail. He/she must possess a clear understanding of the overall content production process.

    The jobholder’s role will further include the following:

    • Support the development of innovative strategies to create compelling video content that shall be appealing to highly exposed and demanding audiences across the Group’s Digital Platforms.
    • Employ modern, data-driven approaches to Video Content Creation by using provided analytics to meet the growing content demands online.
    • Coordinate with team members across various digital functions to deliver creative content that meets all deliverable deadlines.
    • Ability to mine through hours of existing original footage and exploit it for our brands’ benefit.
    • In liaison with internal teams, constantly observe conversations online and be able to creatively create videos, memes, interviews, or short and compelling content that will position the RMS brands effectively.
    • Timely planning for and delivery of all assigned productions.

    Key focus areas: Engage in the pre-production, production, and post-production process of assigned visual projects.

    Academic and Professional Experience

    • Bachelors/Diploma in Communication/TV production with relevant practical experience.
    • Video editing skills in Final Cut and After Effects will be an added advantage.
    • A deep understanding of programming across social media channels, including experience creating original videos for social platforms including YouTube, and Facebook… is required.
    • Proven knowledge of digital media and content landscape is required.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Media Encoder, and Final Cut Pro is required.
    • Some knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite is required.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate digital marketing analyst to support our functions and brands across the group. Reporting to the Marketing Director, your responsibilities will include closely monitoring and tracking online marketing trends, collecting and analyzing data, developing campaign strategies, optimizing and reporting online campaign performance, monitoring client campaigns online, developing required reports and communicating with clients to help them better understand our brands’ audiences and performance.

    The jobholder’s role will further include the following:

    • Collecting and analyzing customer, marketing, and web behavioral data.
    • Testing campaigns, analyzing key metrics, and identifying opportunities to increase campaign performance.
    • Using data and numbers to respond to client questions on our Reach and Target Audiences across our Platforms.
    • Identifying Revenue Opportunities, supported by data.
    • Developing and presenting learnings from your analyses, including actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Developing and recommending digital campaigns and web measurement strategies.
    • Creating dashboards, data visualizations, and campaign and website performance reports.
    • Monitoring and analyzing digital media and marketing trends and regularly sharing the same.
    • Communicating and presenting to colleagues, senior managers, and clients on various digital trends and opportunities for the brands.

    Academic and professional Experience

    • Bachelors degree in marketing/data analysis or a related field. A diploma in data analysis/marketing will be an added advantage for those with a different degree certification.
    • Experience with analytical and reporting tools, including Google Analytics, and Data Studio.
    • Deep knowledge of digital marketing across social, display, and programmatic platforms.
