    School Principal

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide strong leadership in implementing school programs, curriculum, and co-curricular activities to meet educational goals.
    • Interpret and ensure adherence to Ministry of Education policies and directives.
    • Develop benchmarks to measure school performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Manage enrolment and retention by planning capacity, marketing the school, and meeting revenue targets.
    • Oversee staffing needs, including allocation of subjects, identifying gaps, and supporting recruitment and induction.
    • Implement effective strategies to improve academic performance.
    • Set staff performance targets and conduct appraisals.
    • Coach, mentor, and support teachers and learners to maximize their potential.
    • Uphold discipline standards for staff and students in line with school policies.
    • Cultivate a culture of excellence, professionalism, and Christian values.
    • Engage effectively with students, teachers, parents, and stakeholders.
    • Advise and implement decisions from the School Board on academic and disciplinary matters.
    • Manage day-to-day school operations, including preparation of annual budgets.
    • Maintain school records, documentation, and institutional memory.
    • Oversee school infrastructure and advise on maintenance, improvements, and projects.
    • Chair staff meetings and attend education-related forums.
    • Supervise curricular and co-curricular activities.
    • Support spiritual growth initiatives in collaboration with the Chaplain.
    • Serve as Secretary to BOM/PTF meetings and represent the school in relevant forums.
    • Any other duty as may be assigned by the Provost or his delegatee from time to time.

    • Ability to handle other learning areas such as Mathematics, will be an added advantage

    Junior School P.H.E. & Kiswahili Teacher

    Key Responsibilities:
    Instruction and Curriculum Delivery:

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and high-quality Kiswahili & P.H.E lessons across various sports and activities.
    • Develop students' fundamental movement skills (running, jumping, throwing, catching, etc.), fitness levels (cardiovascular endurance, strength, agility), and knowledge of physical health and hygiene.
    • Instruct learners on health-related topics, such as the benefits of exercise and healthy diets.
    • Integrate technology into teaching and learning programs where appropriate.

    Learners Development and Assessment:

    • Motivate and encourage all learners, regardless of ability, to participate enthusiastically in
    • Kiswahili & Physical Health Education activities and develop a positive attitude toward lifelong fitness.
    • Foster the development of essential life skills like teamwork, communication, fair play, and good sportsmanship.
    • Assess, monitor, and record learner’s progress, providing feedback to learners and parents on performance and areas for improvement.

    Coaching and Extracurricular Activities:

    • Lead and manage school sports teams and programs.
    • Coach teams for internal and external competitive events and tournaments.
    • Supervise learners in and out-of-classroom activities, including practices, games.

    Safety and Environment Management:

    • Provide appropriate safety instruction and conduct regular safety checks on all equipment and facilities.
    • Establish and maintain standards of learners’ behaviours to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
    • Be prepared to administer minor first aid and provide initial assistance in case of injury or illness.

    Administration and Professionalism:

    • Manage and inventory sports equipment, supplies, and instructional aids.
    • Communicate effectively and professionally with learners, parents, counsellors, and other staff members.
    • Participate in curriculum development, staff meetings, and professional growth activities to maintain and improve teaching competence.
    • Ability to serve exclusively as a Class Teacher.

    ICT/Mathematics Teacher

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Teach learners in Mathematics & Computer Science-related subjects such as Pretechnical, Integrated Science and Business Studies etc according to the Competency Based curriculum.
    • Prepare and deliver lessons that facilitate active learning and engagement.
    • Develop instructional materials such as syllabi, lesson plans, schemes of work and tests.
    • Assess students' progress and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
    • Create a conducive learning environment that promotes critical thinking and problem-solving.
    • Incorporate technology in teaching and learning activities.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in computer science.

    • Knowledge of the Kenyan education system and curriculum.
