    The Beautician applies water or waving solutions to hair and winds hair around rollers, or pin curls and finger waves hair, sets hair by blowing dry, natural- set, or presses hair with straightening comb.

    This incumbent suggests cosmetics for conditions, such as dry or oily skin; applies lotions and cream to customer's face and neck to soften skin and lubricate tissues, performs other beauty services, such as massaging face or neck, shaping and coloring eyebrows or eyelashes, removing unwanted hair or retain curls or waves in hair and waving or curling hair, and cleans, shapes, and polishes fingernails and toenails.

    Minimum requirements:

    • 1-3 years of experience
    • High school diploma
    • Must be in possession of a valid Passport and be able to travel internationally.
    • Passport should be valid for a minimum of 1 plus years at the time of hiring.

    Food Service Worker

    • The Food Service Worker serves as a cafeteria and/or delicatessen/bakery worker helping in the preparation, presentation and serving of specialty meats, delicacies, preserved foods, cheeses, salads, breads and sweets to patrons. 
    • The incumbent assists in weighing, pricing and wrapping selected foods on plates, trays and in bags, prepares food displays in counter cases and other display units, greets customers as they arrive at service counter, takes special orders, and answers basic customer questions about specialty foods. 
    • Using prepared ingredients and following routine, repetitive steps, this Worker makes hot and/or cold sandwiches, fruit and vegetable trays, salads and rotisserie chicken, may slice and/or mix simple ingredients, as needed, cleans counters and trays, washes dishes and maintains cleanliness of preparation, work and display areas, inspects and cleans equipment. 
    • This Worker may assist in any or all of the following:  measuring and mixing ingredients as directed, assists in preparing, cooking and decorating breads, rolls, pastries, cakes and other bakery items, receives, unloads trucks, and stores stock, takes special orders or unusual food requests from customers, takes payment and makes change for customers.

    Boat Engineer

    We are looking for a precise boat engineer to manage the development of multiple maritime projects. In this role, you will oversee the research, design, and construction of marine vessels, infrastructure, and equipment. You will also conduct tests to inform the maintenance and repair of marine vehicles.

    To be a successful boat engineer, you should have a strong aptitude for design and be physically fit. A top-notch marine engineer should possess excellent project management skills and the ability to supervise all aspects of maritime engineering.

    Boat Engineer Responsibilities:

    • Conducting research and tests to inform the design and construction of marine vehicles and equipment.
    • Preparing technical reports such as research, systems diagnostics, and design analysis documentation.
    • Presenting layout and engineering designs to clients and team members for analysis and feedback.
    • Supervising all aspects of the design process for structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
    • Overseeing the construction of marine vessels and equipment to ensure their quality and integrity.
    • Performing quality control inspections and tests on all systems and equipment and installing upgrades, as needed.
    • Ensuring adherence to safety precautions and project timelines.
    • Training and supervising engineering teams including designers, mechanics, and construction staff.
    • Performing maintenance on marine vehicles and equipment.
    • Investigating and diagnosing technical issues and implementing effective repairs.

    Boat Engineer Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in marine engineering or similar.
    • Relevant USCG engineer license preferred.
    • Professional engineer (PE) certification preferred.
    • A minimum of four years' experience as a marine engineer or similar.
    • Experience with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, and SOLIDWORKS.
    • Sound knowledge of maritime software such as HMI and PLC control systems.
    • Familiarity with maritime HM&E systems and naval construction processes.
    • Experience with a variety of engineering processes including mechanical, electrical, and software.
    • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Physically fit and able to work in strenuous circumstances and harsh weather conditions.
    • Previous work experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce.
    • Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills.
    • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
    • Valid country driver's license and passport.
    • Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).

    Marine Sandblaster / Painter

    Principal Accountabilities

    (Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)

    • Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, and other finishes to equipment, buildings and other structures, using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
    • Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats.
    • Cover surfaces with canvas drop cloth or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting.
    • Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster; or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knives.
    • Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisors in order to determine work requirements.
    • Remove fixtures such as frames, door knobs, lamps, and electric switch covers prior to painting.
    • Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
    • Smooth surfaces, using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, steel wool, and/or sanding machines.
    • Erect scaffolding and swing gates, or set up ladders, to work above ground level.
    • Waterproof buildings, using waterproofing membranes and caulking.
    • Other duties as assigned by leadership

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Knowledge of preparation and painting of equipment, buildings and other structures, support equipment, and components, for both interior and exterior work.
    • Ability to work independently with good decision-making skills.
    • Ability to recognize occupational hazards of the painting trade and take precautionary measures as needed.
    • Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract or assignment.
    • Previous work experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce.
    • Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills.
    • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.

    Experience & Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    Aquatics Manager

    Principal Accountabilities

    (Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)

    • Serves as the aquatics manager responsible for managing and supervising the aquatic programs for an FMWR activity.
    • Assist the program manager with a wide variety of management and administrative tasks associated with operating a fully functional activity that is safe and enjoyable for all participants.
    • Participates in and or leads the planning process that results in providing a wide range of fairly typical, conventional and well-established basic aquatic activities.
    • Conducts all the necessary coordination of various details for reoccurring and nonrecurring aquatic, fitness, instructional, and joint community programs.
    • Interviews and selects staff and provides orientation, training and supervision. Provides leadership, direction, management and analysis of all aspects of the program as required.

    Requirements:

    • The Aquatics Manager shall have Instructor Certification as a lifeguard or water safety instructor in accordance with MWR Policy
    • Undergraduate or Graduate Education with a major in General Recreation or one of the appropriate fields or recreation related to the position or at least one-year specialized experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
    • Shall possess and maintain CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers (CPRO) through the American Red Cross and Aquatic Facility Operator or Certified Pool Operator (NAVMED 5010-4). 
    • Must have at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
    • Must possess a Red Cross CPR Certification
    • Previous work experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce.
    • Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills.
    • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
    • Valid country driver's license and passport.
    • Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).
