    Production Control Clerk / Service Writer

    Job Summary

    • The Production Control Clerk is responsible for creating, updating, and data input of custom reports/information databases used for the purpose of monitoring/inducting of military and civilian equipment. Works directly the Production Control Supervisor and the Maintenance Manager.

    Principal Accountabilities

    • Input, update and export information in/with GCSS Army or government approved LIS.
    • Performs accurate data entry and reporting of vehicles assigned to the program are performed 100% of the time.
    • Generate custom equipment tracking databases/spreadsheets.
    • Provide logistical/administrative support to management.
    • Create, update, and deliver reports to management.
    • Supports / participates in the Company Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and QA Program 
    • Ensure all records of maintenance are maintained in historical jackets and within the computerized maintenance management system GCSS-ARMY and other approved systems, to include requests for disposition, classification, controlled exchange, and cannibalization documentation.
    • Mentors and assists with on-the-job training and cross-training 
    • Complies with all Company rules, policies and procedures 
    • Complies with all safety, environmental and quality standards and applicable SOPs and DOPs
    • Favorably interacts with internal / external customers 
    • Performs other duties as assigned 

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Must understand and be able to use technical manuals
    • Field of Expertise: Supply and maintenance interaction
    • Must be experienced in computer and office machine usage
    • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently

    Experience & Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must have two (2) years hands-on experience in production control, to include administration and dispatching duties
    • Prefer training in Military Occupation CMF 92A Production Control MOS series or another military/commercial equivalent
    • Must possess a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a military operator’s permit for each type of vehicle or equipment required to operate

    Physical Requirements/Working Environment

    • Must be able to grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
    • May be required to lift to 50 pounds.
    • Must be able to work day shift, night shift, or weekend duty as required.
    • May be required to work more than 40 hours, evenings, weekends and holidays on occasion.
    • The work conditions are normally those of a standard office environment where there is little physical discomfort.

    Recreation Services Specialist

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    The Recreation Services Specialist is responsible for facilitating recreation programs and services to enhance the morale and welfare of military personnel and civilians. This role supports recreational activities, ensures compliance with safety standards, and delivers excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Supporting the development, delivery, and oversight of recreation programs and activities to meet the needs of the military community.
    • Ensuring compliance with guidelines for handling and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with CNICINST 1710.3, Chapter 1, Section 114.
    • Maintaining a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or obtaining certification prior to employment.
    • Participating in and completing customer service training equivalent to the Navy’s MWR Star Service, Achieving Extraordinary Customer Relations (AECR) course.
    • Managing day-to-day recreational services and ensuring smooth operation of programs and facilities, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
    • Setting up and supporting delivery of special events, sports leagues, and community-wide recreational activities.
    • Interacting with patrons, responding to inquiries, and ensuring customer needs are met professionally.
    • Maintaining and inspecting recreational equipment and facilities to ensure readiness and compliance with safety standards.
    • Assisting in the proper management and inventory of supplies and materials used in recreational programs and activities.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Training or certification in the proper handling and storage of hazardous materials as specified in CNICINST 1710.3, Chapter 1, Section 114.
    • Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain certification before employment begins.
    • Completion of, or willingness to complete, customer service training equivalent to the Navy’s MWR Star Service, AECR course.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Familiarity with recreational activities, programs, and customer service in a community or military setting.
    • Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
    • Passport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
    • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for the duration of deployment.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred.
    • Previous experience working in recreational services or MWR programs within a military or austere environment.
    • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and manage recreational programs effectively.
    • Multi-sport officiating or event organization skills.
    • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
