    Truck Driver

    DESCRIPTION OF ROLE

    The Truck Driver will be responsible for safe and efficient operation of truck/trailer as per the work plan to realize set performance target.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Drive and operate safely the assigned truck/trailer.
    • Transfer cargo from one point to another as directed.
    • Adhere to terminal, port and national traffic rules and regulations
    • Promptly update work ticket entries and ensure it is always up to date.
    • Ensure fuel allocated is efficiently utilized.
    • Check fuel, water level in the tanks and arrange for refill as required.
    • Check the physical and general condition of truck/lorry and ensure cleanliness.
    • Carry out pre-shift vehicle inspection.
    • Transfer trailers from the terminal to the yard and vice versa.
    • Communicate immediately of any breakdown or problems to Transport Planner and Transport & Warehouse manager.
    • Always adheres to safe working and housekeeping procedures.
    • Utilizes equipment optimally to achieve set targets.
    • Ensure staff and safety regulations, tariffs, circulars, and notices issued from time to time are complied with.
    • Carry out any other duties that may be assigned through the transport supervisor in charge from time to time.
    • Report any Accidents and incidents that may happen during operations

    REQUREMENTS

    • At least O-level
    • Valid driving license
    • Relevant Class “CE” special type endorsement (Articulated Vehicle)

    • Meet set cargo dispatch targets
    • Compliance with vehicle operation regulations.
    • Efficient and accident-free vehicle operation.

    Graduate Trainee -ICT

    Job Description

    We are seeking to recruit a skilled and motivated Graduate Trainee in ICT to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of efficient technology solutions and contribute to the continuous improvement of our ICT systems and infrastructure.

    This role will manage and support ICT infrastructure. This entails installation, management, operation, and maintenance of business systems hardware and software. The role ensures that all deployed ICT systems and infrastructure are working well for all staff.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Analyzing existing systems and offering new ideas for improvement.
    • Participation in the development and implementation of ICT policy and best practice guidelines for the department
    • Ensure ICT policies and procedures of the company are enforced
    • Participating effectively in major ICT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
    • Identify evolving staff ICT needs and recommend necessary actions.
    • Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
    • Review daily backup operations to ensure they are done as per policy and procedures
    • Manage assets, inventory, labeling and filing for end user computers and peripherals
    • Run Health checks, hardware diagnostics and optimization on computers and peripheral devices such as printers, copiers and scanners to maintain optimum hardware and software performance
    • Maintain and support desktops/laptops Windows applications (MS Office Suite, Management software, accounting software), install vendor Critical and Security patches and updates
    • Support computer users to ensure that all computers, software and peripherals are functioning properly including maintenances and upgrades required
    • Ensuring strong alignment to, and application of, ITIL based service management processes such as Incident, Change, Problem, Event, Release and Capacity Management.
    • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported by staff on computing and ICT services
    • Manage repair and recovery from hardware or software failures. Review and manage ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
    • Work with other business units and external clients to resolve ICT issues
    • Providing management reports on weekly basis

    ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in ICT and engineering disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Technology, electrical/electronic/software/telecommunications engineering
    • Relevant professional certifications.
