    Agent Care Team Manager - Electric

    About The Role

    Burn is looking for an Agent Care Team Manager with the following responsibilities.

    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Strategic Leadership s Alignment:
      • Lead the development and execution of strategies to maximize agent performance in line with global commercial objectives
      • Partner with business leaders to create strategies that enhance agent support, improve agent satisfaction, and contribute to business growth
    • Operations Management:
      • Oversee daily operations of agent care teams, ensuring high performance, smooth workflows, and business targets are met
      • Collaborate with the Sales Operations team to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across global teams, driving efficiency and consistency
      • Manage the recruitment, training, and onboarding of sales agents/ACT officers
      • Ensure correct agent mapping and zoning based on approved criteria and SOM
      • Verify and confirm field team commission payments, ensuring timely processing
      • Address field challenges and support agents in improving their performance
    • Training s Development:
      • Develop and implement training programs for agent care officers to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with company goals
      • Collaborate with training teams to assess agent training needs, address skill gaps, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with SOPs
    • Budget s Resource Management:
      • Manage the agent care team’s budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize performance and meet business demands
      • Lead efforts to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs
    • Business Development s Process Improvement:
    • Work with senior management to identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and agent satisfaction
    • Escalation Management:
      • Oversee and manage escalations from sales agents related to performance issues
      • Identify root causes and implement strategic solutions to prevent future issues

    Skills And Experience

    • 5+ years of experience in sales or operations management, ideally in the renewable energy or clean cooking sectors
    • Proven experience in sales support or agent management roles
    • Strong strategic thinking and experience managing cross-functional teams
    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
    • Solid understanding of performance metrics, data analysis, and reporting
    • Experience in business development, sales strategy, or process optimization
    • Sales/operations data analysis and reporting experience
    • Experience managing large, geographically dispersed teams

    Field Operations Warehouse Officer - Kakamega

    About the role

    • Burn is looking for a Field Operations Warehouse Officer who will be responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehoused goods. 

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Last Mile Inventory Management:
      • Ensure safe, timely & effective flow of inventory in the last mile meeting BURN’s operating procedures and processes consistently.
      • Overseeing stock storage processes including tagging and labelling
      • Report the stock status to the warehouse supervisor daily.
      • Keep an accurate, and up-to-date track of inventory to minimize losses and damages.
      • Ensures recovery of lost inventory happens according to processes.
      • Ensure incoming product is received and managed/arranged appropriately according to BURN’s procedure
    • Stock Taking:
      • Be responsible for managing and running planned stock takes.
      • Manage and control inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks with support from Field Operations Officer and sales agents.
    • Forecasting:
      • Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.
      • Placing and receiving orders from the regional warehouse to replenish stocks as needed.
    • Sales Orders:
      • Report sales orders (via serial numbers) to the Field Ops Officer on the daily basis
    • Aftersales:
      • Receiving the default product brought back for fixing and communicating resolution timelines to the customer.
      • Troubleshoot and fix defaulted products and update the relevant reports after resolution.

    Skills and Experience:

    • 2+ years of stock management
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong analytic/number-crunching background,

    About the Role:

    The Head of Logistics Operations - Electric is responsible for overseeing and optimizing logistics operations across the electric business unit, focusing on last-mile logistics enablement. This role includes coordinating outbound and reverse logistics, managing delivery efficiency, and supervising 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partnerships to ensure seamless stoves delivery to customers. The position plays a critical role in ensuring cost-effective, timely delivery and high service quality for all our electric business unit customers.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Logistics Coordination:
      • Manage and oversee outbound logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
      • Coordinate with drivers and fleet managers to maintain smooth delivery processes.
    • Reverse Logistics Management:
      • Develop and implement strategies for managing reverse logistics, including repossessions, returns and repairs.
      • Ensure proper handling, storage, and reallocation of returned products.
    • Delivery Efficiency:
      • Monitor and improve delivery KPIs to ensure consistent efficiency.
      • Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement solutions to address them.
    • 3PL Partner Management:
      • Collaborate with external logistics providers to optimize operations.
      • Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party logistics partners.
    • Operational Oversight:
      • Align logistics strategies with overall company goals and ensure adherence to SOPs.
      • Monitor and report on logistics costs, identifying areas for cost reduction.
    • Compliance and Safety:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with demonstrated success in overseeing and optimizing logistics operations.

    Communication Skills:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders, negotiate with partners, and provide clear direction to teams.
