    Security Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to integrate security measures across physical security, IT infrastructure, data protection, and emergency response.
    • Conduct security audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
    • Manage access control systems, surveillance equipment, and other security technologies.
    • Maintain relationships with external security providers, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies.
    • Investigate and respond to security incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
    • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of security personnel.
    • Stay informed on the latest security trends and technologies, recommending improvements where necessary.
    • Prepare and deliver regular security reports to senior management.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Security Studies, or a related field.
    • Advanced certifications in security operations are an added advantage.
    • At least 5 years of experience in security management, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
    • Proficiency with security technologies, access control systems, and surveillance equipment.

    • Providing editorial guidance to staff and student contributors.

    • Proofreading and fact-checking academic content, ensuring adherence to referencing styles and proper citation practices.
    • Supervising and mentoring junior editors, student writers, and other content creators.
    • Coordinating with designers and printers to ensure timely publication of print materials.
    • Staying updated on educational trends, curriculum developments, and publishing best practices.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, education, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as an editor in an academic, publishing, or school environment.
    • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
    • Experience working with digital publishing tools, CMS, and social media platforms.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • Familiarity with academic referencing styles.
    • Experience in educational publishing or academic research.
    • Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional materials.
    • Familiarity with graphic design and layout tools
