    Patient Care Representative

    We are looking for a Patient Care Specialist to provide exceptional patient support while ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations. This role focuses on delivering a seamless patient experience through effective communication, accurate scheduling, and strong attention to detail.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide empathetic, professional patient support
    • Manage appointment scheduling, including calendar optimization and double-booking when needed
    • Maintain accurate patient records in EHR/EMR systems
    • Handle calls, emails, and patient inquiries efficiently
    • Verify patient information and pre-visit requirements
    • De-escalate concerns with a patient-first approach
    • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams

    Requirements

    • 1 year or more of proven experience in call center (must)
    • Experience with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling (preferred but not required)
    • Knowledge of OSHA & HIPAA compliance (preferred but not required)
    • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
    • High attention to detail and organizational abilities
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
    • C1 English level (must)

    Details

    • Location: Onsite – Oasis Outsourcing, Royal Offices, Kenya
    • Schedule: 26 hours/week within 3:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Kenyan time)

    Responsibilities 

    • Extensive use of RingCentral and Casee case management system Identify pending medical records and billing requests based on Casee due dates Properly identify medical facilities/departments for contact Locate, review, and interpret previously submitted records and billing requests
    • Communicate with medical providers via phone or written correspondence
    • Enter data documenting communications with providers Set appropriate follow-up dates for pending requests
    • Notify the assigned paralegal of any issues requiring attention

    Skills

    • At least one year of relevant legal experience preferred Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software
    • Strong decision-making aligned with company guidelines
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
    • Strong communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service
