    Capacity Planner

    Job Objective

    To administer the network inventory, provision, record and audit resources. Plan, forecast, report and initiate capacity across the network.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Design, develop and implement network automation solutions for configuration, provisioning, monitoring and troubleshooting across NNIs (Network-to-Network Interfaces) and system integrations
    • Integrate network automation solutions with B/OSS platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability with existing systems
    • Own and manage service records, including ODF, port and supplier records
    • Implement Moves, Adds, Changes and Deletions (MACD) management and control of service inventory
    • Own provisioning (including allocation, leased lines, client backup and other client network services)
    • Ensure network changes in the are reflected in company records
    • Ensure emergency restoration changes are reviewed and either accepted or normalised
    • Audit and reporting of port and capacity utilisation and trends
    • Forecast on capacity and raise with management for purchasing when re-order levels are reached
    • Prepare BOD reports and assist with budgetary planning for capacity
    • Telecom Expense Management, liaising with Finance
    • Represent WIOCC as required on submarine cable management sub-committees
    • Assist with the creation of ad hoc reports as needed
    • Assist other departments and lead and report on projects as requested
    • Ensure data integrity of NetSuite

    Minimum Qualifications 

    • Degree holder in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or related fields.

    Experience & Skills:

    • Minimum 4 years of work experience in the telecom industry, including experience in service delivery, sales support, network infrastructure or operations support or similar fields
    • Detailed knowledge of OTN, DWDM / ROADM, Data (Ethernet, IP/MPLS)
    • Experience with implementing databases for network inventory records
    • Experience working with B/OSS systems to maintain accurate and timely network records
    • Experience with product and technology development cycle, including implementation and deployment
    • Capable of providing recommendations and options to identify all impacts and costs related to the recommended solutions
    • Knowledge of subsea cable systems and operating models

    Senior IT & Systems Engineer (Power Platform & AI Integration Lead)

    Job Objective

    Drive the design, development, integration and maintenance of intelligent business applications using Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot AI. This role focuses on streamlining business processes, automating workflows and integrating AI capabilities to improve customer service, network performance and operational efficiency – while upholding high standards of security and compliance.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Serves as a critical enabler for the organisation’s AI journey, using Power Platform as a practical launchpad for identifying and prototyping automation and AI use cases
    • Continuously explore emerging AI tools and Copilot integrations to inform scalable enterprise AI strategies
    • Plays a transitional role between low-code automation and advanced AI integration, helping the organisation move from operational improvements to intelligent systems
    • Design, develop and deploy solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse.
    • Integrate Azure AI capabilities into business workflows, enhancing automation and user experience
    • Collaborate with business units to identify automation opportunities and translate them into scalable Power Platform solutions
    • Customise and extend Microsoft 365 services using PowerShell, Graph APIs, and SharePoint integrations
    • Build dashboards and reporting tools in Power BI to deliver actionable insights across departments
    • Ensure proper versioning, documentation and maintenance of Power Platform solutions
    • Implement governance best practices, including role-based access, auditing and environment management
    • Support the development and fine-tuning of LLMs or prompt-based Copilot interactions tailored to business needs
    • Works closely with leadership and IT to evaluate and shape the organisation’s broader AI roadmap, based on practical findings and iterative deployments
    • Bridges tactical implementation with strategic vision – translating experiments into insights that can guide enterprise-wide AI adoption
    • Maintain compliance with data privacy and telecom industry regulations through strong security and governance practices
    • Collaborate with the IT and Security teams to align cloud deployments and AI implementations with company standards
    • Engage with external partners and vendors to enhance solution capabilities where needed
    • Provide technical guidance, documentation and training to internal teams to support adoption and usage

    Minimum Qualifications 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognised university
    • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
    • Demonstrated experience with Azure AI, LLMs, and open-source foundation models
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing full-stack solutions using APIs, REST APIs, M365 Graph APIs, and PowerShell scripting
    • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 product suite and automation solutions
    • Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning Studio and Azure Cognitive Search
    • Familiarity with Prompt Engineering and LLM fine-tuning

    Experience & Skills

    • Strong understanding of AI governance, responsible AI practices, and foundational concepts such as model interpretability and data privacy
    • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing AI/automation solutions, particularly within Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 environments
    • Ability to translate practical use cases into AI adoption strategies, contributing to enterprise AI roadmaps and digital transformation goals
    • Proven capability in cross-functional collaboration, working effectively with technical, business, and leadership teams to deliver value-driven solutions
    • Skilled in decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication, especially in fast-paced or exploratory environments
    • Familiarity with RPA tools, low-code platforms, and their integration into business processes
    • Knowledge of network automation, AI-driven operations, or AI-enhanced cybersecurity in telecom is a plus
