    Client Operations Manager M/F

    Mission Description

    • The Client Operations Manager will coordinate the efficient receipt, inspection, documentation, and handover of all cargo arriving at site while ensuring compliance with operational, quality, and HSE standards.

    Cargo Receiving & Inspection

    • Receive all incoming cargo and verify delivery documentation against the physical shipment to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Inspect cargo for quantity, condition, packaging integrity and correct labelling before acceptance.
    • Identify, document and immediately report shortages, damages, incorrect deliveries or any cargo discrepancies to the Site Operations Supervisor and client representatives.
    • Ensure all received cargo is accurately recorded, tagged and transferred to the designated storage or operational area.

    Truck Inspection & HSE Compliance

    • Inspect all vehicles arriving on site to verify compliance with site access requirements and operational standards.
    • Verify vehicle condition, load security, lashing quality and overall cargo safety before offloading commences.
    • Confirm compliance with PPE requirements and site safety procedures by drivers and transport personnel.
    • Report unsafe conditions, non-conformities, near misses and incidents promptly to the Site Operations Supervisor and QHSE team.

    Offloading Coordination & Site Operations

    • Coordinate truck arrivals and offloading schedules with clients, warehouse personnel and operations teams to optimize turnaround time.
    • Liaise with the Control Tower and Track & Trace Officer to align vehicle arrivals with site readiness.
    • Monitor offloading activities to ensure cargo is handled safely and efficiently.
    • Escalate delays, congestion or operational bottlenecks that may affect service delivery.

    Reporting & Documentation

    • Maintain accurate daily records of truck arrivals, departures, cargo received and operational activities.
    • Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly receiving reports within agreed timelines.
    • Maintain organized records of delivery notes, inspection reports, discrepancy reports and receiving documentation for audit purposes.
    • Ensure all receiving information is accurately captured in company systems and records

    Operational Performance & Continuous Improvement

    • Monitor receiving performance and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cargo accuracy.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to receiving, cargo handling and reporting processes.
    • Participate in operational review meetings by providing receiving statistics and performance updates.
    • Promote compliance with company policies, operational procedures and quality standards.

    Profile

    • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Warehousing or a related field.
    • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in cargo receiving, warehousing, logistics or transport operations.
    • Certificate in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
    • Experience in oil & gas, industrial logistics or project cargo operations is an added advantage.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.

    Inventory Supervisor M/F

    Mission Description

    Operational Excellence Management

    • Reviewing the operation and identifying and implementing continuous improvement solutions and initiatives to drive efficiency, increase value and quality, minimize cost/waste/duplication etc.
    • Developing and implementing Service Excellence processes and procedures to increase customer satisfaction and reduce complaints from BAT or her distributors and transporters, etc.
    • Monitoring, assessing, and developing relevant OPEX Scorecards to drive business performance in accordance with set budgets and targets.

    KPI and Reporting Management

    • Assisting management to develop Job profiles, Job descriptions, KPIs and Reports and communicating the same throughout the operation.
    • Liaising with the Operational teams to meet or exceed existing KPIs by identifying the key drivers and providing strong guidance and direction to achieve the best result.
    • Developing and implementing daily, weekly, and monthly reports and presentations to provide operational visibility aimed at decision making.
    • Assessing existing KPIs and Reports and enhancing them to improve business performance.

    Controls, Compliance & Ethics Management

    • Championing the CCE agenda on site by ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, Code of Business Conduct, AGL Policies, Government & Regulatory Authorities.
    • Periodically reviewing operations processes to identify risks, close gaps, update procedures and policy manuals, share best practices etc.
    • Working closely with Management and the Operations teams to identify, train and develop CCE champions in all categories.
    • Ensure weekly Pulsar observations are done.
    • Abide by all QHSE requirements.

    People Management

    • Building effective relationships, influencing, and motivating the Operations teams to own and commit to the achievement of Operational excellence.
    • Managing the development and effective implementation of Change Management, Cultural shifts, Communication processes, Training programs etc.
    • Working closely with HR in developing Talent Management processes

    Profile

    Education

    • • Business Degree in Finance/Accounting or Operations/Supply Chain Management
    • • Professional Certification in CPA/ACCA/APICS/CIPS is an added advantage.

    Work Experience

    • At least 3 years' experience in any of the following fields: -
    • External/Internal Audit
    • Supply Chain/Operations/Inventory Management
    • Risk/Governance/Compliance Management
    • Understanding of generally accepted Supply Chain, Inventory Management and Auditing SOPs and KPIs.
    • Working knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
    • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen is an added advantage.
