Consultancy to Conduct the Baseline Study for our Hormonal IUD (HIUD) Scale-up Work at EngenderHealth

• EngenderHealth is seeking a qualified research company, academic institution, or professional firm to conduct the baseline study for our hormonal IUD (HIUD) scale-up work in Kenya.
• The Consultant will assess the current contraceptive care and family planning service delivery environment, establish baseline indicators, and evaluate health facility readiness to provide HIUD services and healthy menstrual bleeding (HMB) support across selected counties.

Highlights of required qualifications include:

• Senior researchers with advanced degrees (MPH, epidemiology, demography, anthropology, or related fields)
• Demonstrated experience conducting FP/RH baseline studies, facility audits, and survey data collection in Kenya
• Proven ability to develop tools, collect and analyze data, and produce high-quality reports
• Fluency in English and Swahili, and strong contextual knowledge of the target counties
• Inclusive, gender-balanced research teams with experience collaborating with government, NGOs, and community partners
• Evidence of delivering high-quality assessments on time, with references and previous reports available
