Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive training materials for OSH courses, ensuring alignment with industry standards and requirements.
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions both in-person and virtually, using real-world examples to enhance understanding of OSH principles.
- Assess participants' progress and provide feedback to help them meet learning objectives.
- Stay current with the latest trends, regulations, and best practices in occupational safety and health.
- Conduct OSH audits and share practical insights on implementing safety measures.
- Support marketing efforts by participating in webinars, writing blogs, and contributing to promotional materials.
Minimum Qualifications and Professional Experience
- A degree in Science, Engineering, or Medicine, with at least a Postgraduate Diploma in OSH or a Diploma in NEBOSH; OR
- A first degree in Occupational Safety and Health.
- A minimum of five years of proven practical experience in the field of OSH.
- Previous experience as a trainer, educator, or presenter is preferred.
- Proficient in conducting OSH audits and demonstrating knowledge of OSH regulations.
- Proven basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with adult learning styles and strategies.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Polished professional demeanor and appearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete the full training cycle, including designing, delivering, and evaluating training.
- Adaptability and reliability, with a proactive work style and attention to detail.
- Ability to keep up with new technology and apply it effectively in training sessions.
