    Professional Consultant Trainer in Occupational Safety and Health (Osh) Based in Nairobi

    Job Summary

    The trainer/facilitator will develop and deliver outstanding training and workshop activities that engage clients, meet their learning objectives, and contribute to the program’s overall performance and targets. Additionally, the trainer/facilitator will regularly review their workshop practices to maximize the client’s participation, satisfaction, and success.

    002_ Consultant Trainer in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Related Courses

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and develop comprehensive training materials for OSH courses, ensuring alignment with industry standards and requirements.
    • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions both in-person and virtually, using real-world examples to enhance understanding of OSH principles.
    • Assess participants' progress and provide feedback to help them meet learning objectives.
    • Stay current with the latest trends, regulations, and best practices in occupational safety and health.
    • Conduct OSH audits and share practical insights on implementing safety measures.
    • Support marketing efforts by participating in webinars, writing blogs, and contributing to promotional materials.

    Minimum Qualifications and Professional Experience

    • A degree in Science, Engineering, or Medicine, with at least a Postgraduate Diploma in OSH or a Diploma in NEBOSH; OR
    • A first degree in Occupational Safety and Health.
    • A minimum of five years of proven practical experience in the field of OSH.
    • Previous experience as a trainer, educator, or presenter is preferred.
    • Proficient in conducting OSH audits and demonstrating knowledge of OSH regulations.
    • Proven basic computer skills.
    • Familiarity with adult learning styles and strategies.
    • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
    • Polished professional demeanor and appearance.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to complete the full training cycle, including designing, delivering, and evaluating training.
    • Adaptability and reliability, with a proactive work style and attention to detail.
    • Ability to keep up with new technology and apply it effectively in training sessions.
