    Manager – Information Security

    Responsibilities and Accountabilities. 

    • Develop and implement the Bank’s information security strategy, framework and policies, and liaise with the Head of Enterprise Risk to ensure full alignment with the Banks Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Governance, business goals and group requirements.
    • Drive and ensure the full implementation of all technology control systems and continuously monitor against business requirements, identified and reported incidences and good practices to ensure that they remain relevant and robust.
    • Design and put in place an appropriate information security architecture and coordinate reviews to assess data losses and breaches and prioritize solutions and actions to minimize and mitigate business threats and risks.
    • Develop and implement information security risk assessments and penetration testing schedules and procedures and ensure these are undertaken as required to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
    • Lead in the implementation and continuous monitoring of systems, applications, platforms etc. to facilitate effective incident response management and ensure timely containment and recovery.
    • Contribute to the development and introduction of new products, services, channels and IT systems by reviewing their information system/ technology requirements and processes to provide assurance of compliance with all stipulated security compliance thresholds.
    • Review and approve key infrastructure change requests and ensure all requests meet and approvals are within the minimum risk and compliance thresholds.
    • Establish and implement an information security business continuity plan and processes and continuously run tests to ensure it is fit for purpose, identify gaps and follow up on agreed actions to avoid negative impacts on the Bank’s processes and operations and to ensure continuity in the event of a disruption.
    • Develop and implement security awareness sessions for both employees and customers to enhance the overall security culture.
    • Ensure that all regulations, group requirements and best governance practices are embedded in the Bank’s information system and cyber security practices to ensure compliance and adherence to ISO 27001, PCI DSS, CBK prudential guidelines, Data Protection Regulation regulations etc.
    • Liaise and collaborate with all risk, compliance and audit teams to ensure all necessary assessments and audits are carried out on time, relevant information is provided and proactively implement recommendations and agreed actions.
    • Manage the security risks associated with third-party information services/ technology vendors and partners by undertaking risk assessments, identifying potential risks and gaps, ensuring all SLAs are met and by providing relevant guidance, when required, on controls or mitigants to eliminate, minimize and or manage
    • Prepare and submit information security risk reports including monthly and quarterly group, management and Board reports.

    Minimum Requirement; Work Experience, Academic and Professional Qualifications.

    • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Information Security or any related field from a recognized and accredited institution.
    • At least eight (8) years’ experience in information security, risk management and governance with at least three (3) years conducting compliance assessments, implementing IT controls, cyber security management etc.
    • Certified in information security knowledge areas, such as an ISACA related certification e.g. CISM/ CISA, Certified Ethical Hacker, Licensed Penetration Tester amongst others and from a recognized and accredited institution.
    • In-depth knowledge of information security governance frameworks such as ISO 27001/2, PCIDSS, NIST, OWASP etc.
    • Knowledge of authentication, End Point Security, Internet Policy Enforcement, Firewalls, Web Content Filtering, Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Identity and Access Management (IAM).
    • Good knowledge of the local and regional regulatory and statutory information security and risk management, cyber security and data protection requirements and good/ best industry practices.
    • A good understanding of banking and or financial services operations, processes and practices.

    Analyst – Digital Business

    Responsibilities and Accountabilities. 

    Performance and Business Intelligence

    • Deliver end-to-end performance analysis across all digital channels and products, including transaction volumes, values, revenues, customer activity, adoption trends and profitability.
    • Design, develop and maintain executive-ready dashboards and performance packs for management and governance forums.
    • Monitor digital KPIs against strategic targets, budgets and forecasts, proactively identifying performance gaps, risks, and growth opportunities.
    • Ensure accuracy, consistency and integrity of digital performance data through structured validation, reconciliation and reporting processes.
    • Provide periodic and ad-hoc performance insights to support strategic reviews, prioritization decisions and operational course correction.

    Commercial and Financial Analysis

    • Conduct detailed business and financial analysis for new and existing digital initiatives, including feasibility studies, financial models, and business cases.
    • Support pricing reviews, revenue optimization initiatives, and margin analysis across digital products and channels.
    • Track digital revenues, costs and profitability, providing visibility on unit economics, return on investment, and cost drivers.
    • Perform post-implementation reviews to assess commercial performance against approved business cases and identify optimization opportunities.
    • Provide analytical input into budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes for the Digital Business portfolio.

    Customer Analytics and Experience Insights

    • Analyze customer behavior, digital journeys and usage patterns to identify friction points, drop-offs and opportunities to improve experience and adoption.
    • Segment digital customers based on usage, value and lifecycle to support targeted engagement and growth strategies.
    • Track customer acquisition, activation, engagement and retention metrics across digital channels.
    • Provide insights to support enhancements in digital journeys, features and service delivery.
    • Support customer-centric decision-making by translating behavioral data into actionable experience improvement recommendations.

    Digital Initiatives, Campaigns and Partnerships 

    • Provide analytical support for digital campaigns, product launches, partnerships and channel enhancements.
    • Track campaign and initiative performance against defined objectives, KPIs and commercial outcomes.
    • Conduct ROI and impact analysis for digital marketing, acquisition and engagement initiatives.
    • Support go-to-market execution by monitoring uptake, usage trends and customer response.
    • Provide data-driven insights to inform optimization of partnerships, propositions and channel strategies.

    Stakeholder Engagement and Executive Decision Support

    • Act as a key analytical liaison between Digital Business, Finance, Technology, Operations, Risk and other internal stakeholders.
    • Translate complex data and analysis into clear, concise insights for senior management and decision-making forums.
    • Prepare high-quality executive presentations, briefing papers and insight decks for management and governance committees.
    • Support governance processes by providing accurate, timely and decision-ready performance and financial information.
    • Contribute to strategic discussions by providing fact-based insights that inform investment decisions and prioritization.

    Minimum Requirements; Work Experience, Academic and Professional Qualifications 

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business analysis, data analytics, performance management, or financial analysis, preferably within banking, fintech, or digital financial services.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, economics, Finance or a related field.
    • Professional certifications in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Finance, or Digital Banking will be an added advantage.
    • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and business intelligence tools.
    • Experience using BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL) is an added advantage.

    Competencies and Attributes 

    • Proven ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable business insights.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.

    Custodial Service Officer

    Responsibilities and Accountabilities.

    Equity Settlement

    • Process client instructions promptly on receipt.
    • Pre-matching of trade transactions ensuring that daily reconciliation is completed before market deadlines and that negative affirmations are sent to the exchange/brokers within stipulated deadlines.
    • Escalate any transactions that may cause trade failures to the line manager for resolution
    • Ensure that all Client requirement/communication/ queries are responded to in a timely manner

    Money Market Settlement 

    • Confirming successful bids with the Central Bank of Kenya and advising Clients
    • Timely transfer of funds to the client’s cash account to avoid failed equity or bond trade settlements and promptly escalating any pre-funding issues to the respective supervisor.
    • Ensuring prompt processing of clients’ term/ call deposit instructions and dispatching deposit certificates to clients on receipt.
    • Ensuring pro-active management of client trades to reduce the chances of failure of client instructions.
    • Ensuring correctness of entries with respect to funding, proceeds and tax liabilities thereof to the Client(s) cash accounts.

    Cooperate Actions Processing 

    • Ensuring that information relating to all Corporate Action announcement is captured accurately complete and timely in Innova and sent to clients.
    • Ensuring that all corporate action events particularly those related to voluntary / with options, are processed in a timely, complete and accurate manner and released to clients / depository respectively within agreed SLA and before market deadlines.
    • Monitor for receipt of Corporate Action entitlements and where required pro-actively follow-up with the companies to ensure receipt of client entitlements on or before due date.
    • Ensuring all cash and securities proceed are reconciled and processed in timely manner and cash proceeds are credited to client’s account upon cheques clearance or receipt of RTGS.

    Payments and General Banking Activities

    • Processing of payment instruction as per the internal SLA (cheques/ RTGS/ Book transfers)
    • Banking of client cheques for clearing and uplifting to clients’ accounts on maturity.

    Reconciliation of accounts /Control and Admin Process/ Billing

    • Reviewing all reconcilable accounts on a daily basis and complete reconciliations ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items within the agreed age limit.
    • Carrying out monthly reconciliations of CBK and CDSC holdings.
    • Receive client instructions and carry out call back where required and distribute the same to the respective departments.
    • Account opening process; Innova/Central Depositories (CDSC and CSD DHOW).
    • File and archive documents as per laid down guidelines.
    • Reconfirm custody fees billing for each client at the end of every month and sending invoices to the respective clients
    • Pass all accounting entries for all fees received.
    • Key end of day processes; Client account reconciliation and sharing of statements.

    Minimum Requirements; Work Experience, Academic & Professional Qualifications. 

    • Minimum 4-year banking experience with a good understanding of Bank policies, procedures, and external regulations.
    • Business related Bachelor’s degree from a recognized accredited University
    • Certificate in Chartered Institute for securities and Investment-CISI.

    Competencies & Attributes.

    • Ability to perform set duties with minimal supervision to meet the set targets and overall objective of The Bank.
    • Good coordination skills to handle the various tasks assigned.
    • Flexibility and willingness to go beyond the call of duty to achieve the department`s deliverables.
