    Sales Executive

    Role Statement purpose:

    • Selling the hotel products and services (Conference packages and Accommodation) in order to grow the hotel business to meet set targets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • In liaison with the Assistant Sales Manager, establish a sales strategy to drive and achieve set sales targets.
    • In liaison with the Assistant Sales Manager and in line with the budget, establish annual & monthly sales targets.
    • Set SMART objectives for self-geared at achieving targets and monitor for success.
    • Aggressively open cold doors, follow up on referrals and leads with the aim of closing and converting these into business.
    • Periodical market survey to establish emerging market trends and recommend suitable action.
    • Review guest custom and establish consistency/ otherwise and recommend suitable action and implement on approval by the Assistant Sales Manager and/or GM.
    • Manage the promotion of new & existing products through various avenues.
    • Grow the hotel business by acquiring new corporate customers.
    • Grow revenue by mining for incremental business from existing clients.
    • Create and maintain business.
    • Successfully manage PR for the hotel and maintain links with F&B in this regard.
    • Prepare sales management reports on sales for feedback and review by the Assistant Sales Manager.
    • Supervisor reviews analysis and approves or otherwise (Assistant sales manager).
    • Prepare and execute suitable work plan to implement strategy.
    • Any other duties delegated by the Assistant Sales Manager and/management.

    Requirements

    • Diploma in sales, hospitality or related field.
    • Advanced/post graduate diploma in sales.
    • 2 years’ experience in sales.
    • Computer proficient.
    • Great interpersonal skills.
    • Well organized.
    • Good personal presentation.

    Assistant Sales Manager

    Role Statement:

    • The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for Managing all sales activities for the Hotel and overseeing the day-to-day running of the sales department.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Establishing and servicing a strong customer database, individually and for the sales team.
    • Maintaining and increasing sales & revenues for the hotel products.
    • Reaching the targets and goals allocated.
    • Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base.
    • Servicing the needs of existing customers.
    • Increasing business opportunities through various routes and new companies.
    • Setting sales targets for individual sales executives.
    • Recruiting and training sales staff.
    • Allocating areas/accounts to sales executives.

    • Collecting customer feedback and solving customer complaints.
    • Reporting to senior Management.
    • Keeping up to date with products and competitors and reporting the same to management.
    • Suggesting areas of improvement to management and promotions that will place the hotel in the competitive market arena and generating more revenues.
    • Representing the Hotel in industry meetings/key events/Conventions.
    • Visiting customers and potential customers alongside sales executives.
    • Cold calling customers and potential customers alongside sales executives.
    • Cold calling customers and selling services and products.
    • Liaising with other departments within the company.
    • Chasing leads and following up on opportunities to generate sales.
    • Arranging to attend industry conferences and events.
    • Networking with companies in the industry.
    • Representing the General manager when and as required.

    Requirements

    • Proven track record of successful Hospitality career.
    • Relevant industry experience and knowledge of the company’s market.
    • Highly motivated with a drive to succeed and a passion for sales.
    • Target driven and money motivated individual.
    • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
    • Good business sense.
    • The ability to motivate and lead a team.
    • Initiative and enthusiasm.
    • Excellent communication and ’people skills.

    Marketing Executive

    Role Statement Purpose:

    • Translate business and marketing objectives into designs that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, easy to use and emotionally engaging.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Constantly generate ideas to improve customer experience,functionality and business.
    • Contribute to the evolution of website design,customer experience and brand projection
    • Support and assist with marketing-focused creative assets for the retail business (retail store signage and collateral, advertising collateral)
    • Generate templates and designs to support business and customer marketing requests

    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
    • Demonstrated understanding of website usability/web optimization best practices added advantage
    • Well versed in social media and existing/emerging platforms
    • Demonstrated experience working to deadlines
    • Demonstrated experience in working with a team
    • Video editing capabilities desirable but not essential
