    Camp Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead sales and marketing activities to grow revenue, including targeting new market segments and maximising direct bookings.
    • Manage all guest communications, responding promptly to inquiries and ensuring high conversion rates from inquiry to booking.
    • Oversee the camp’s digital and social media platforms, ensuring content aligns with the brand.
    • Coordinate logistics and procurement activities, ensuring adequate stock levels of all essentials and reducing waste.
    • Ensure compliance with high health, safety, and environmental standards across all operations, ensuring the safety of guests and staff.
    • Oversee maintenance of camp facilities, infrastructure and other equipment.
    • Serve as the primary host for guests, delivering warm, professional and personalised service.
    • Resolve guest complaints and handle operational issues with speed, diplomacy, and professionalism.
    • Coordinate daily camp activities, including game drives, bush meals and guest experiences.
    • Provide financial and performance reports, including occupancy rates, revenue and operational expenses.
    • Manage camp budgets and petty cash, ensuring responsible financial oversight.
    • Lead, develop and manage staff, fostering a culture of service excellence, accountability and integrity.
    • Maintain strong relationships with local communities and conservancies, supporting conservation and responsible tourism efforts.

    Academic and Professional Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management, or a related field.

    Knowledge, Experience and Competences

    • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the hospitality sector, with at least 2 years in safari camp management or a similar role.
    • Proven track record in guest service, operations and staff management.
    • Strong leadership ability with the ability to inspire, train and manage a diverse team.
    • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, able to maintain calm and decisiveness under pressure.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage confidently with guests, staff and stakeholders.
    • High integrity and professionalism, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
    • Proficiency with Online Travel Agency platforms, digital tools, and booking systems.
    • Sound knowledge of Kenyan Labour laws and tourism regulations.

    Outbound Logistics Supervisor

    The Outbound Logistics Supervisor will oversee and optimize the timely and accurate dispatch of goods, ensuring efficient truck utilization and smooth coordination between warehouse operations, transport providers, and customers. The role is critical in maintaining service quality, minimizing logistics costs, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

    Key Responsibilities 

    Dispatch and Documentation

    • Ensure orders are accurately loaded and dispatched on time.
    • Verify all shipping documents for accuracy before dispatch.
    • Prepare and share loading plans on time.
    • Coordinate transport allocation and loading with 3PL providers, couriers, and company‑owned vehicles.
    • Ensure proper packaging, labelling, and staging of outbound goods.

    Monitoring and Coordination

    • Track outbound turnaround times (TAT) and resolve bottlenecks promptly.
    • Maintain accurate dispatch trackers and ensure proper documentation.
    • Confirm that all vehicles provide properly acknowledged Proof of Delivery (PODs).
    • Act as liaison between the sales team and customers regarding order status at dispatch and post‑loading.

    Cost Optimization and Safety

    • Minimize logistics costs through efficient load planning and route optimization.
    • Ensure safe handling and loading at dispatch to reduce damage.
    • Implement safety measures to achieve zero work‑related accidents.
    • Enforce occupational health and safety standards, ensuring staff use appropriate PPE.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Identify and implement best practices for outbound logistics.
    • Support warehouse management in resolving operational challenges.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by Warehouse Management.

    Academic and Professional Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field.
    • Computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ hands‑on experience in warehouse operations.

    Inventory Supervisor

    The Inventory Supervisor will oversee all aspects of inventory movement within the warehouse, ensuring timely, complete, and accurate tracking of stock in and out. The role is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting efficient warehouse operations

    Key Responsibilities 

    Inventory Management

    • Confirm that physical stocks received in the warehouse match their respective Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
    • Coordinate and oversee cycle counts as well as annual stock counts.
    • Maintain and update discrepancy trackers, ensuring issues are resolved within required turnaround times (TAT).
    • Accountable for inventory variances, discrepancies, losses, and damages in the stores.
    • Maintain inventory reports, including stock in hand, aging stock, slow‑moving stock, and obsolete stock.
    • Provide accurate physical stock positions to inform category teams of risks of overstocking or understocking.

    Process Oversight

    • Collaborate with retail store clerks and the inventory control team on warehouse inventory matters.
    • Serve as the inventory process champion by training the team and ensuring strict adherence to workflow processes.
    • Ensure proper handover of inventory to the packing and dispatch teams.
    • Maintain internal transfer and sales order registers, clearly showing details of stock movement.
    • Appoint and supervise picking teams to ensure items are picked accurately and on time against sales orders or internal transfer requests.

    Compliance and Safety

    • Ensure compliance with warehouse standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security.
    • Enforce the use of appropriate PPE by staff at their workstations.
    • Maintain a clean, tidy, and clutter‑free warehouse to reduce risks of accidents and stock damage.
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

    Academic and Professional Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in warehouse operations.
    • Computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for inventory management.
    • Experience working with SAP is an added advantage.

    Inbound Logistics Supervisor

    The Inbound Logistics Supervisor will oversee all inbound operations within the warehouse, ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient receipt of goods from suppliers and transporters. The role is critical in safeguarding product quality, maintaining compliance with inventory procedures, and supporting smooth warehouse operations.

    Key Responsibilities 

    Inbound Operations Management

    • Supervise and verify the receipt of incoming products, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
    • Enforce Quality Assurance procedures for inbound deliveries, checking for damaged, under‑supplied, or over‑supplied items.
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of Goods Received Notes (GRNs) for both local and imported items.
    • Oversee the verification of customer returns and ensure proper documentation for credit note processing.
    • Manage the receipt of items from retail branches, confirming compliance with stock transfer notes.
    • Coordinate timely offloading of containers and oversee KEBS stickering of imported products.
    • Liaise with procurement and category teams to ensure timely purchase and availability of stickers.

    • Work closely with product category teams to schedule and optimize inbound deliveries.
