    Line Attendant

    • The  Line Attendant is responsible for ensuring availability of raw materials in the production area and supporting the production team in ensuring quality products, efficiency  and safety adherence. This role report to Shift Team Leader.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Maintain a clean and organized production area, equipment, and personal sanitation.
    • Prepare, weigh, load, move/transfer raw materials, containers for production.
    • Inspect Containers and Product at various critical control points to ensure they meet quality standards.
    • Participate in RCAs and all the best practices as defined by SCW.
    • Support the production lines to run efficiently.
    • Quality checks to assure product is packaged according to customer/set specifications.
    • Directly communicate to machine operators on variations and non-conformity for prompt correction.
    • Palletize product Depalletize Containers.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Diploma or Certificate in Food Science / Engineering or a relevant course

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of 2 years experience in FMCG

    Process Operator

    • The Process Operator is responsible for operation of the process area according to work instructions, the execution of destructive and non-destructive quality checks and carrying out of autonomous maintenance. The process operator has a primary focus on the quality control activities of the team. This role report to  Shift Team Leader.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Operating and Process Control

    • Operating the process area according to the work instructions and adhering to usage standards.
    • Carrying out the required quality checks as described in the quality control and analysis work practice.
    • Constantly reviewing process performance against target, and completing all short interval control documentation.
    • Identifying and correcting unsafe work practices

    Maintenance of Plant and Equipment

    • Carrying out deep cleaning, lubrication and inspection of machines according to the work instructions, and following the schedules supplied by the maintenance planner.
    • Carrying out autonomous maintenance activities according to the work instructions, and following the maintenance schedule.
    • Conduct breakdown maintenance tasks

    Quality Control and Analysis

    • Carrying out quality checks and analysis as per the quality procedures
    • Calibrating required quality control equipment according to work instruction and requesting assistance from the core lab where required
    • Conducting trends analysis on quality data to identify problems and opportunities timeously.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Using run / control charts and trend analysis, to identify sources of waste and variation in the process.
    • Using short stop analysis, Pareto charts and other tools seek to identify opportunities to simplify activities.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an FMCG, bottling or food processing plant.
    • Computer and technical skills.

    Forklift Operator

    • The Forklift operator primary role is to efficiently operate the forklift to ensure safe, quick and proper movement of products and goods from one place to another. This role reports to Shift Team Leader.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Facilitate movement of products from the production hall to the warehouses and to arrange the products according to the company’s traceability system.
    • Facilitate movement of empty glass to the production hall for production.
    • Offload empty glass and products from trucks.
    • Load products and empty glass onto trucks for dispatch.
    • Facilitate movement of any other bulk items and materials in the plant as may be directed by the supervisor from time to time.
    • Ensure that the forklift is kept clean, duly serviced and inspected according to traffic law.
    • Exercise correct operating habits to ensure that forklift maintenance costs are minimized.
    • Conduct daily inspection of the forklift allocated to ensure that the vehicle is sound for use and provide record.
    • Report any defects on the forklift and follow up for remedial action.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • O level or KCSE certificate
    • Driving license class G / Forklift Certified
    • Certificate in motor mechanics or auto electrical is an added advantage

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of 2 years' continuous forklift operating experience.
