    Data Analytics Manager

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Bring analytics into BAU

    • Thought partner of use case squads on the ground.
    • Use case squad member supporting across the different stages of a use case (managing process of defining impact & process of setting up implementation plans, etc.).
    • Be the communication link between tech and business roles (ensuring all communications flow seamlessly).
    • Responsible for following best practices in product management: MRD, PRD, defining user stories, and epics.
    • Leverage data to draw insights and enhance daily decision-making (e.g. utilize GCR, market benchmarks, and market trends).
    • Help colleagues best use data in their day-to-day work by improving their awareness of the data available and generating insights from data.

    Surface ideas

    • Develop a clear understanding of the business’s strategic needs.
    • Prioritize the highest impact initiatives in alignment with the MAF strategy.
    • Articulate business needs to the technical colleagues in order to find the best analytical solutions to address the problem.

    Generating insights within a squad

    • Identify and gather data from the business to be used for the use case analysis/modelling.
    • Collaborate with squad members (e.g. business partners, data engineers, and data scientists)
    • to solve and deliver the use case.
    • Communicate the insights generated with appropriate recommendations to business stakeholders.

    Delivering insights

    • Escalate issues that will hinder the delivery of the use case.
    • Ensure last mile execution based on the use case insights, collaborating with key stakeholders across the business and driving tool adoption.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Marketing, or a quantitative subject-related field.
    • A Master’s Degree in Business Administration is preferred.
    • Demonstrated high-level skills in management (experienced communicator, proven ability to build capacity and develop stakeholder engagement) of a large and complex organization.
    • Analytics (Should be able to bridge the business and tech).
    • Ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds.

    Minimum experience

    • Minimum 6 years in a related managerial function.
    • Preferably 2+ years in the retail business or closely related industry

    Healthcare Quality Assurance Manager

    JOB PURPOSE

    The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the quality of healthcare services through carrying out reviews, coordination of team members, identifying and addressing deficiencies as well as preparing reports.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Review Nurses notes documents for accuracy and completeness prior to locking and submitting data electronically. Return any incomplete or incorrect notes for review.
    • Reviews physician orders, medication profiles, aide care plans in relation to the nurses’ notes QA.
    • Review all Medicaid and other episodic payers’ clinical records at the local level to assure appropriate documentation for reimbursement. This review includes verification of appropriate documentation, quality of care provided, visits utilization, appropriate contacts with physicians, adherence to the care plan, and evidence of communication between disciplines.
    • Review Nurse’s notes for accuracy and completeness following the plan of care prior to approval.
    • Coordinate communication between team members/attending physicians/caregivers to ensure the appropriateness of care and outcome planning and ensure compliance through review of documentation and care coordination activities.
    • Participate in performance improvement activities, maintain ongoing clinical knowledge through internal/external training programs, provide interpretation of knowledge and direction to staff.
    • Identify clinical problem areas and document deficiency trends in a proactive approach.
    • Educate administrative and clinical associate staff in the correction of these deficiencies.
    • Participate in biweekly meetings and report ongoing issues in the QA /Clinical departments
    • Submit weekly reports for QA including how many notes QA’d within the week, identify ongoing issues that require further review.
    • Other duties as assigned

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Nursing Bachelors level and above.
    • Currently, licensed “in good standing”
    • Minimum of one (5) years of experience as a professional nurse

    ECHO- Information and Communication Assistant (Group II)

    Duties & Responsibilities

    The ICA will be based in Nairobi, with field visits within the region, when required and he/she will ensure that the general public, beneficiaries, DG ECHO partners, local and national authorities as well as regional organisations are informed of the nature and extent of the humanitarian operations funded by the European Commission. He/ She will contribute through his/ her work to enhance the visibility and knowledge of DG ECHO operations funded in the region.

    Media:

    • Provides DG ECHO with an analysis of the media in the region.
    • Prepares media briefings relating to DG ECHO's humanitarian actions.
    • Sets-up and keeps up-dated a data base of media contacts of the region concerned.
    • Contributes to the organisation of media visits to DG ECHO-funded projects, in collaboration with operational partners.
    • Contributes to the organisation of media aspects in the context of EU senior officials visits to the region.
    • Liaises and maintains regular and proactive contacts with the international and local press, ensuring that they are briefed on key DG ECHO messages, events, decisions, and missions.

    Information and communication:

    • Participates in the formulation of the Regional Office Annual Work Plan, the Regional Communication Plan and any subsequent revisions, any Information Section quarterly activity planning.
    • Supports DG ECHO information and communication initiatives in the field.
    • Undertakes a range of information, communication, visibility, and support actions relating to humanitarian aid financed by the Commission in the zone of operations, including the preparation of media kits, press releases, DG ECHO Web Site and publications.
    • Provides EU Delegations in the region with DG ECHO-related information material for its inclusion in the Delegations' information and communication actions (websites, newsletters, press releases, speeches, press interviews, articles, etc.).
    • Prepares and promotes DG ECHO and EU in visibility events, in cooperation with the RIO (Regional Information Officer).
    • Manages, under the RIO (Regional Information Officer) and HoRo (Head of Regional Office) supervision, the RO visibility material stocks (inventory and orders).
    • In conjunction with the RIO, provides input to the RO monthly report on the activities and achievements of the Information Section.

    Working with partners:

    • Sets-up and keeps up-dated a data base of partners, and more generally humanitarian actors, V&C contacts in the region.
    • Informs and monitors partners visibility obligations and advise them on their visibility plan and communication strategy, under the close supervision of the RIO and HoRo).

    Education: A relevant first level university degree or equivalent professional experience.

    Knowledge and experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at national or international level in public relations, journalist, advocacy, or corporate communications.
    • Experience in conceptualising and managing the production of communication material. Demonstrated experience in developing content that clearly communicates development ideas and experiences for media, web, print production, and audio-visual productions.
    • Excellent drafting skills.
    • Previous experience with a multilateral or international organisation is an advantage.
    • Ability to travel frequently within the region.
    • Experience in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc).

    Marketing Executive

    JOB PURPOSE

    Support effective implementation of marketing strategies through analyzing market insights and plans, interacting with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating and executing promotional activities and product positioning in line with the region and/or segment direction in order to support sales growth targets and enhance brand awareness.  

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Establish and maintain the client's Shop Concept standard by monitoring the implementation of new shops and evaluating existing shops according to the regional guidelines in order to sustain the brand image in the market and provide customers with an exceptional experience.
    • Develop and maintain promotional activities by monitoring regional programs (Master Painter, Loyalty Program) and planning for exhibitions, events and seminars for end users, interior designers and fresh graduates to increase sales, organization’s brand awareness and footfall on our shop network.
    • Coordinate with the regional retail development team in developing and implementing regional promotional programs and projects in the local market.
    • Conduct regular market visits and lead market evaluation on successful implementation of Retail Programs in the local market.

    • Secure local implementation of concepts, product or brand strategies as well as targeted campaigns and launches.

    QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Sound knowledge & understanding of the retail industry.
