Deputy Head - Finance & Accounting at CDL Human Resource

Our client is expanding their expanding finance team and are currently looking for an experienced, hands-on professional to fill the role of Deputy Head - Finance & Accounting.

The Role:

• We are seeking an experienced and hands-on finance professional to support the leadership and execution of the Finance & Accounting function, ensuring strong financial reporting, controls, compliance and effective business support.

Duties:

• Support accurate and timely financial reporting and accounting operations
• Strengthen financial controls, reconciliations and compliance
• Support budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
• Review financial information and provide actionable business insights
• Support effective financial governance and documentation
• Partner with operational teams on financial and business requirements
• Support process improvement and greater efficiency within finance
• Guide and support the Finance & Accounting team in day-to-day execution

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline. 
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA or ACCA. 
• Strong hands-on financial management, reporting, and budgeting experience. 
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, or a similar complex operating environment is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience supervising or leading teams
