We are seeking to hire an HR Officer who will provide day-to-day HR administration and employee support across the organisation. The role will support recruitment, onboarding, employee records, leave and attendance administration, payroll and benefits support, employee relations, training coordination, HR reporting, and general HR operations, while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable Kenyan employment requirements. The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with CHRP qualification or ongoing CHRP training preferred, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in human resources or HR administration, including experience supporting recruitment, employee records, leave and attendance, payroll, employee relations, and general HR operations. The ideal candidate must have experience within the Oil & Gas, industrial, or renewable energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, personnel files, employment contracts, HR forms, and other employee documentation.
- Prepare employment letters, contracts, HR forms, correspondence, and other HR documentation as required.
- Maintain HR trackers covering headcount, contracts, leave, attendance, recruitment, employee movements, probation periods, and contract expiry dates.
- Support the implementation and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, recruitment documentation, reference checks, and pre-employment requirements.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and ensure completion of joining documentation, induction, and orientation activities.
- Maintain an updated recruitment and manpower tracker and provide recruitment status updates as required.
- Maintain accurate employee attendance and leave records, process leave applications, and monitor employee leave balances.
- Track probation periods, contract expiry dates, transfers, promotions, employee movements, and exits, ensuring appropriate follow-up and documentation.
- Monitor attendance and absenteeism issues and escalate matters where necessary.
- Act as a first point of contact for routine employee HR queries and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Support the documentation and administration of disciplinary and grievance matters and escalate complex employee relations issues as required.
- Assist in coordinating employee engagement, staff welfare, and employee communication activities.
- Provide accurate employee information and monthly changes required for payroll processing.
- Support the verification of leave, attendance, and other payroll inputs and coordinate with Finance as required.
- Maintain employee benefit records, including medical cover and other company benefits, and assist employees with routine benefit-related queries.
- Coordinate with Finance and external service providers on employee-related administration where required.
- Coordinate logistics for staff training, development activities, induction, and orientation programmes.
- Maintain employee training and development records and track mandatory training and certification requirements.
- Support the implementation of learning and development activities and other HR initiatives.
- Support compliance with company HR policies, procedures, and applicable Kenyan employment legislation.
- Maintain proper employee documentation to support internal and external audits, regulatory requirements, and compliance reviews.
- Ensure confidentiality, secure handling, and appropriate management of employee information.
- Maintain accurate employee information within the Company’s HRIS/ERP system and update records relating to employees, leave, attendance, and other HR transactions.
- Prepare routine HR reports, statistics, headcount reports, employee movement reports, and other HR information as required.
- Maintain the organisational structure, staff list, and HR reporting trackers.
- Support the effective use and implementation of HR systems and contribute to HR process improvements.
- Support communication of HR policies, notices, procedures, and employee-related information.
- Assist in organising employee engagement activities, staff welfare initiatives, and internal HR programmes.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Manager and support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Collaborate with Heads of Department, Finance, Administration, management, and employees to ensure effective HR service delivery.
- Maintain proper custody, filing, and archiving of HR documents and records.
- Perform any other reasonable HR duties assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CHRP qualification or ongoing CHRP training is preferred.
- Membership of a recognised HR professional body is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience in Human Resources or HR Administration within the Oil & Gas, industrial, or renewable energy sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee records, leave and attendance administration, payroll support, employee benefits, and general HR operations.
- Experience working with an HRIS/ERP system is an advantage.
- Good understanding of HR administration and employee lifecycle processes.

We are seeking to hire a Procurement & Supply Chain Lead who will provide strategic and operational leadership for the procurement and supply chain function supporting an upstream waste management project. Based at the Head Office in Nairobi, with regular travel to Lokichar and supplier locations as required, the role will oversee procurement planning, sourcing, supplier and vendor management, contracting, supply planning, cost management, compliance, and procurement systems to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of goods, equipment, materials, and services required for project operations. The successful candidate will develop procurement strategies, manage supplier performance, support local supplier development, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure alignment with company policies, project requirements, and applicable Kenyan regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with project requirements, budgets, operational priorities, and timelines.

- Identify potential supply disruptions and recommend mitigation measures to maintain project continuity.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, approval limits, applicable Kenyan regulatory requirements, local content requirements, and ethical procurement standards.
- Maintain complete procurement records, documentation, and audit trails to support internal and external audits and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor procurement spend against approved budgets and identify cost-saving and cost-avoidance opportunities without compromising quality, operational requirements, or HSE standards.
- Monitor supplier pricing and relevant market trends and prepare regular procurement reports covering spend, savings, outstanding orders, supplier performance, and procurement risks.
- Ensure accurate recording of procurement transactions in ERP and procurement systems and maintain appropriate procurement trackers and databases.

- Monitor procurement KPIs, including cost, lead time, supplier performance, compliance, and process efficiency.

- Lead, mentor, and develop Procurement Officers, Logistics Coordinators, Warehouse Supervisors, and other assigned procurement and supply chain personnel while promoting accountability, integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Professional certification such as CIPS, CPSP, CPP, or an equivalent procurement or supply chain qualification is preferred.
- Additional training in contract management, oil & gas procurement, supply chain management, or related disciplines is an advantage.
- Minimum 6–10 years’ progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiation, purchasing, and delivery.
- Proven experience in supplier evaluation, contract management, commercial negotiation, procurement planning, and cost control.
- Experience in oil & gas, mining, construction, industrial operations, waste management, or similar environments is preferred.
- Experience supporting procurement for a new project or operational set-up is an advantage.
- Experience managing procurement spend, supplier performance, and procurement-related risks.
