    Head of Maintenance - Mill Plant

    • Facilitate and oversee all aspects of mill plant and equipment maintenance and support the overall objective of achieving the most efficient, effective, and economical mill plant operation while ensuring health and safety, food safety and quality availability requirements.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities.

    • Develop, implement and maintain an effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
    • Perform maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in mill maintenance schedules.
    • Oversee an efficient operation and maintenance of flour milling machines for maximum yield and productivity.
    • Plan and oversee installation, maintenance and repair of mill assets and facility-plant equipment, systems, pneumatic systems, and facility structure / services.
    • Maintain mill assets and facility,
    • Effectively assist in managing and controlling maintenance costs and budget
    • Provide training and continuous development on all maintenance personnel.
    • Drive the Mill Maintenance and reliability initiative focused on Preventive & Predictive Maintenance, not reactive.
    • Maintain transparent and effective communication with Production, QA, OH&S teams always.
    • Participate in designing and developing future mill production capacities by attending design meetings.
    • Coordinating with Research & Development regarding product changes and improvements.
    • Review and maintain all maintenance operating procedures and schedules to incorporate the changes.
    • Responsible for maintaining Food Safety and Quality Systems as assigned.

    Accountabilities.

    The Head of Maintenance is accountable for the following:

    • Mill production Efficiency and effectiveness and full optimization.
    • Turn round on plant/ equipment installations.
    • Prevent Maintenance reports.
    • Availability of records on repair action on plant and equipment.
    • Safety compliance and staff performance.
    • Cleanliness of equipment.

    Requirements

    Education and Key qualification Requirements.

    • A degree in related fields of Engineering, Milling Science or equivalent.
    • A minimum of 7 years of hands-on flour production and maintenance experience.
    • Thorough working knowledge of all Milling equipment, systems, processes and methods.
    • At least a Flour Milling Certification
    • Experienced miller is an added advantage
    • Strong background in HAACP; safety; GMP.
    • Strong knowledge/experience managing mill plant maintenance through Computerized Maintenance Management system.

    Zonal Sales Representative - Kitui

    To sell and manage the distribution of products and services to resellers and distributors within the assigned territory. The role needs to identify and facilitate optimization of opportunities to drive sales as maximally and as efficiently as possible within the assigned territory.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Achieve the Sales (Revenue) targets of the Territory.
    • Achieve Customer Base targets via acquisition drives.
    • Drive Channel Specific Agenda in line with Company targets – ASOs, SSOs, Agents.
    • Achieve Site Profitability targets within the Territory via Site-based activities & programs.
    • Oversee & drive the people capability agenda across all levels – TDRs, DSAs, Commandos.
    • Ensure customer expectations regarding standard of services & product knowledge are met, both in TKL Stores & in Partners stores.
    • Monitor the activities of competition and to prepare counter action plans.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required.

    Principal Outputs for this role

    • Partner management – ensuring channel partners are engaged and effectively driving the brand on the ground.
    • Sales targets - Delivering assigned sales targets on revenues, airtime, gross additions, Tkash, data and devices.
    • TKL (TDRs) & Partner team management (DSAs, Commandos) – managing teams output as per business objectives.
    • Visibility - ensuring partners outlets, trade and general market visibility.
    • Availability - ensuring availability of products within the markets/areas.
    • Reports - sharing reports as required.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
    • 2 years’ experience in sales and distribution role in Telecommunication/FMCG.

    Power Station Technician

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Daily operation and monitoring of the power station
    • Troubleshooting and resolution of all electrical faults
    • Servicing and maintenance of Diesel Generator (DG) sets
    • Maintenance and operation of motors, compressors, and boilers
    • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining proper operational records

    Requirements:

    • The ideal candidate should have more than 5 years of hands-on experience in a power station or industrial utilities environment.
    • A Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
    • The candidate must be proactive, technically sound, and able to work with minimal supervision.
