    Business Development Executive Visitor Management System

     

    Job Purpose: Reporting to the Business Head, the overall purpose of this role is to manage the Sales and Business development of the visitor management system.

    Our client offers solutions for Electronic Security Systems, Queue Management Systems (QMS), Visitor Management System (VMS), among other solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Promoting and selling the automated visitor management system
    • Building and maintaining relationships with the new and existing clients
    • Presenting the organizations system in a structured professional way to potential clients.
    • Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
    • Ability to differentiate the companys product offerings and convey compelling value
    • proposition to promote sales.
    • Creating detailed proposal documents / quotations and handover reports
    • Cold calling with the aim of maturing business
    • Gathering Market and Customer information.

    Programme Manager; Inclusive Markets and Trade Development

     

    Main Duties:

    • Manage a portfolio of projects and programmes and follow up on Swedish funded projects by, inter alia: Plan, assessing and approving funding applications, administer, follow up, preparing decisions/contracts and agreements reviewing and approving narrative, financial and audit reports;
    • Support policy dialogue with relevant Government of Kenya ministries, development agencies, donors and relevant stakeholders in the sector, including drafting briefings, participating in technical and sectoral meetings, and drafting reports;
    • Financial management, including follow up of disbursements and payments of contributions;
    • Contribute to the development of Swedish strategies and policies for Kenya;
    • Represent the Embassy of Sweden and actively participate in co-ordination for a program reviews, technical discussions, and field visits; and
    • Build relationships and develop networks through interaction and continuous dialogue with relevant bilateral, multilateral, and sectoral actors.

    Qualifications:

    • Masters degree in Economics, Finance, Trade, Business, Agribusiness, Markets Development or other equivalent academic background;
    • Previous experience in the Development arena working with Trade, Finance, Markets Development, Productive Employment, or related areas;
    • A minimum of ten (10) years working experience in the above areas;
    • Previous experience working with innovative financing instruments, such a challenge funds, guarantees or similar;
    • Demonstrable understanding of national, regional and international trade and market development;
    • Knowledge of Kenyan institutional, policy, and legal framework for trade, financial markets and services, private sector and investments;
    • Experience in programmes/projects design, implementation and performance monitoring; and
    • Good command of both written and spoken English.

    Added Advantage:

    • A strong understanding of Market Systems Development (MSD) and its integrated application in development of Trade, Green Growth, Agribusiness, Renewable Energy, Innovative Financing, and digitization;
    • An understanding of multidimensional poverty analysis principles;
    • Experience working with private sector development including enterprises, accelerators, national trade promotion organizations, and/or other business support organizations;
    • Knowledge of the Kenyan institutional structures, key actors, development strategies, in relation to trade, financial services sector, markets development, agribusiness, and green growth;
    • An understanding of Business and Human Rights as well as a Right-based approach as it relates to inclusive economic development; and

    Programme Manager; Sustainable Agriculture and improved Livelihoods

     

    Main Duties:

    • Manage a portfolio of projects and programmes and follow up on Swedish funded projects by, inter alia: contribute to the programming, identification, formulation, appraisal, implementation and evaluation of projects and programmes in the areas of agriculture, trade, cooperatives, MSMEs within the theme of inclusive economic development;
    • Support policy dialogue with relevant Government of Kenya ministries, development agencies, donors and relevant stakeholders in the sector, including drafting briefings, participating in technical and sectoral meetings, and drafting reports;
    • Approving funding applications including budgets; preparing decisions/contracts and agreements; reviewing and approving narrative, financial and audit reports and proposing corrective actions when needed;
    • Contribute to relevant sector (agriculture, trade, cooperatives, MSMEs) analysis and active follow-up of policy and strategy developments;
    • Contribute to all aspects of the procurement process (drafting Terms of Reference, launching tenders, etc.);
    • Contribute to all aspects of communication and visibility including: summarize and disseminate programme results; sharing of best practices at conferences and events, contribute to the production of publications and social media posts, draft and deliver speeches, etc.
    • Represent the Embassy of Sweden and actively participate in co-ordination for a program reviews, technical discussions, and field visits;
    • Build relationships and develop networks through interaction and continuous dialogue with Government of Kenya, relevant bilateral, multilateral, and sectoral actors

    Qualifications

    • A Masters degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Economics, Agriculture Economics, Agriculture Extension, Food Security, Environment, or any other related Discipline;
    • Previous experience in Development arena working with, Agriculture development (policy, legal, regulatory, value chains, accelerator programmes, business development, advocacy), resilience and livelihoods building, agriculture and private sector development or related areas.
    • Knowledge of Kenyan institutional structures, policy, and legal framework, key actors, development strategies for agriculture sector and linkages to trade, food security, financial services, private sector and investments sectors.
    • Experience in programmes/projects design, implementation and performance monitoring.
    • A minimum of 10 Years Relevant Working Experience.
    • Good Knowledge of Sustainable Development Issues
    • Good command of both written and spoken English

    Technical Team Lead - Software Solutions

    Job Purpose:

    Reporting to the CEO, the Technical Team Lead shall be responsible for all technology systems, processes, software design and development within the company.
