    Head of Key Account Manager

    What you will be doing

    • Own the P&L of the category, driving GMV, revenue, contribution margin, and vendor monetization.
    • Lead and develop a team of Key Account Managers, ensuring high performance, clear ownership, and structured development.
    • Define the category strategy, including assortment growth, price positioning, and sourcing tactics to win across segments.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives of top brands and distributors, ensuring Jumia is a key strategic partner.
    • Acquire new brands and large distributors to scale assortment, improve product availability, and strengthen competitiveness.
    • Lead Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with strategic vendors, ensuring alignment on targets, marketing plans, and visibility campaigns.
    • Promote and sell Jumia’s advertising and visibility services to vendors in your portfolio to drive monetization and traffic.
    • Collaborate with the commercial planning and marketing teams to design impactful campaigns and promotions.
    • Monitor and analyze category performance through dashboards and reports, identifying actions to accelerate growth or fix gaps.
    • Track and manage pricing, out-of-stock, and operational KPIs to ensure best-in-class customer experience.
    • Champion cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, operations, finance, and product teams to ensure execution excellence.

    What we are looking for

    • 7+ years of experience in the category industry, retail, or e-commerce, including team leadership and full P&L ownership.
    • Strong understanding of the category ecosystem in the market: key players, price ladders, customer segments, and sourcing models.
    • Graduate of a top-tier business or engineering school (Top 5 in your country or globally recognized).
    • Strong commercial leadership and negotiation capabilities with C-level stakeholders.
    • Proven track record in managing teams, delivering results through people, and developing talent.
    • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to structure category plans and drive execution.
    • Fluency in English and French; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Comfortable working with data and tools (Excel, dashboards, Google Suite, CRM, BI tools).
    • High resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.

    Key Account Manager

    What you will be doing

    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with C-level executives and account managers of our top brands and distributors in the category. You will be one of the key external representatives of Jumia in this category, alongside the Country Managing Director and CCO.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and maximize revenue across your portfolio.
    • Lead the acquisition of new high-potential brands and large distributors to enrich our assortment and consolidate Jumia’s leadership in your category.
    • Identify and unlock monetization opportunities by promoting and selling Jumia’s advertising and visibility services to brands and partners in your portfolio.
    • Collaborate with marketing and commercial planning teams to build promotional campaigns tailored to your accounts and the category dynamics.

    What we are looking for

    AWS Data Engineer

    What you will be doing

    • Design and develop pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL
    • Use GitLab as the versioning control system
    • Utilize S3 buckets for storing large volumes of raw and processed data
    • Implement and manage complex data workflows using Apache Airflow (MWAA) to orchestrate tasks
    • Utilize Apache Iceberg (or similar) for managing and organizing data in the data lake
    • Create and maintain data catalogs using AWS Glue Catalog to organize metadata
    • AWS Athena for interactive querying
    • Familiarize with data modeling techniques to support analytics and reporting requirements, as well as knowledge of the data journey stages within a data lake (Medallion Architecture)

    What we are looking for

    • Ideally, a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
    • Ideally, +5 years of experience within the Data Engineering landscape
    • Strong expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, and the overall AWS data ecosystem
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
