    Internal Auditor

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • undertaking audit assignments in line with the approved audit work plan to confirm the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, risk management and control;
    • performing substantive and compliance testing of accountable records and
    • documents and prepare working papers;
    • providing input in preparation of audit reports for audit engagements executed;
    • and
    • evaluating progress and effectiveness of action taken to implement audit
    • recommendations received from internal and external audits.

    Requirements for Appointment

    • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Accounting; Finance;
    • Commerce (Accounting option), Commerce (Finance option), Business
    • Administration (Accounting option); or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
    • Certified Internal Auditors (CIA) or Part III of Certified Public Accountants
    • (CPA) Examination or Part III of the Association of Certified Chartered
    • Accountants (ACCA) or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
    • Registration with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya
    • (ICPAK), Member of Institute of Internal Auditors or its equivalent will be an added advantage.

    Clerical Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implementing the file classification scheme
    • Distributing and tracking files

    • KCSE Grade C– (minus) or its equivalent

    INTRODUCTION
    Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) is a State Corporation established by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Act No. 29 of 2013. TVETA is a regulatory body whose mandate is to regulate and coordinate the TVET sector through accreditation of institutions, programs and trainers as well as assure access, quality, equity and relevance in education and training.

    OBJECTIVE
    The objective of the TVETA Youth Internship program is to provide a platform where youths who have completed their studies can develop abilities that will help them to take up employment opportunities in different sectors. The program will provide an opportunity to gain on– the– job experience, increase knowledge, develop career goals and put together professional network. The Authority is therefore inviting interested candidates from recognized Universities and Ccolleges to apply for internship opportunities.
