    Regional Sales Head

    Description of role

    ILARA HEALTH is a series A healthcare start - up based in Nairobi and Kisumu and will be expanding to Rift Valley, Mount Kenya and the Coastal region in 2021.At ILara Health our mission is to make common diagnostics affordable and accessible to all Kenyan’s. In our aim to achieve this we partner with facilities in peri - urban areas by leasing them diagnostic tools without hefty upfront payments allowing them to better serve their local communities and earn extra revenue for their facilities. It is the sole responsibility of the sales team to build this network of facilities - FAST!As the Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for the performance of the sales team managers that report directly to you. Their performance is based on their team's performance. It will be your responsibility to monitor and manage your team managers ensuring that they are getting the very best out of each member of their team.You will act as a mentor and a coach to your team leads, supporting them in running their team and consistently guiding them on how to be the best leaders they possibly can be.

    Responsibilities

    • Know the potential of each territory in your region and plan accordingly. How many facilities are there and how long will it take before the territory is exhausted.
    • Allocate accounts weekly based on your findings when territory planning, Facebook leads and upsell opportunities.
    • Conduct not less that 10 interviews/week to ensure you always have a strong pipeline of top talent to join your region.
    • You will be responsible for onboarding new starters using the ILARA HEALTH sales playbook.
    • Conduct weekly 1 on 1’s with your team leads.
    • Daily regional sales meetings must be planned a week in advance and shared with the Head of Sales for discussion.
    • Daily meetings with your team leads are to discuss the day before and to reinforce accountability for each member of their team using the CRM as a reference
    • Daily call with Head Of Sales
    • You will spend 2 days a week on the field, supporting your team lead in coaching reps and to ensure reps are working their territory efficiently.
    • Manage device installers performance and tasks
    • Weekly reporting to Head Of Sales on regions performance, pipeline, activity and conversion rate based on data in the CRM
    • You will be responsible for going to potential new regions to identify if we are able to make an impact and ultimately launching the region should there be potential based on company guidelines and criteria- this is a 5 phase process

    Requirements

    • Diploma or equivalent (Advantageous)
    • 2-5 years experience in managing sales leads/managers - B2B is advantageous
    • Successful track record in sales training
    • Sense of urgency and accountability
    • Obsessed with efficiency and process
    • Results and target driven
    • Competent in G- suite
    • Highly organized
    • Fluent in English and Swahili - written and spoken
    • Able to travel on a regular basis
    • Car/motorbike (Advantageous)

    Medical Device Field Sales Representative- Nairobi

    Ilara Health is seeking a full-time Medical Device Field Sales Representative to support the growth of the business and drive our outreach to clinics in and around Nairobi and other counties. Ilara Health distributes modern, high quality diagnostic devices to undeserved primary health clinics that struggle to afford even basic equipment. To meet our objectives, we are looking to strengthen our sales team and give you the opportunity to challenge yourself. You will play a pivotal role in achieving the sales targets and eventually generating revenue for the organisation. You will be the face of Ilara Health’s brand to our customers. You will establish plans and strategize on methods for expanding the customer base in your assigned sales territory in conjunction with the VP of Sales.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve sales targets as set forth in the sales projections.
    • Manage time and expectations on the field daily.
    • Manage your sales funnel by reaching out to potential clients and maintaining relationships in a very organised manner.
    • Ensure sales are conducted in accordance with documented processes and procedures
    • Ensure to only sell to customers that are able to pay for the products during the loan period.
    • Coordinate customer installations, while maintaining the agreed SLA.
    • Manage use of Ilara Health’s assets and vigilantly contain selling costs.
    • Drive the implementation of the after sales process by ensuring that the customers are aware, trained and performing in accordance with it.
    • Ensure proper documentation and handling of the administrative work involved in the on-boarding of new facilities.
    • Collaborate with the VP of Sales in planning & implementing training programs for facilities.

    Qualifications

    • Required education: Undergraduate degree/Diploma
    • Nice-to-have: experience as a field sales representative / sale associate in a medical equipment or pharmaceuticals distributor company.
    • Adaptable & comfortable in a complicated and constantly evolving business environment. Fast learner. Willing to contribute in areas beyond formal job description
    • Strong communications & highly organized and structured individual.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Willingness to work a variety of hours as the business demands, including occasionally late nights & weekends.
    • Familiarity with office applications (especially Excel) as well as Google Drive, Google Forms, Skype etc
    • Linguistic capabilities: Swahili, and English

    Telesales Representative-Nairobi

    Job Summary

    Ilara Health makes common diagnostics accessible and affordable to the 500 million people in Africa who today struggle to access even basic blood tests.We partner with companies using robotics and AI to lower the cost of diagnostics, integrate their devices into our tech platform, and sell this bundle to doctors with financing.

    The holder of the position will provide great customer experience (by showing empathy, creating rapport and building trust) through contact with Ilara customers. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, efficient response to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    Customer Care

    • Handle customer inquiries via telephone and/or Email.
    • Update customer information in the customer service database during and after each call.
    • Manage and resolve customer complaints.
    • Provide customers with product and service information by clearly explaining procedures; answering questions; providing information.
    • Identify and escalate priority issues and where necessary, follow up customer concerns.
    • Document all customer interaction information according to standard operating procedures.
    • Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies.
    • Impact the company’s bottom line by problem solving and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers.
    • Maintain and improve quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines and recommending improved procedures.
