    Jake's Place Manager

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage food and beverage services, as well as entertainment and recreational activities, in compliance with mission requirements and government standards.
    • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize efficiency and maintain compliance with contract requirements.
    • Supervise and guide staff, providing training, mentorship, and professional development to ensure a high level of service excellence.
    • Monitor and ensure customer satisfaction through continuous feedback collection and improvement of services, recreation offerings, and entertainment programs.
    • Provide oversight of the financial performance of Jake’s Place, including budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to meet revenue and profitability goals while delivering quality service.
    • Manage an inventory of food, beverages, supplies, and equipment to support operations, ensuring inventory is well-stocked and accounted for at all times.
    • Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are met across operations, including compliance with food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.
    • Collaborate with government representatives to plan and coordinate events or activities tailored to meet recreational and operational goals.
    • Ensure availability in person or designate an alternate to be readily accessible during regular working hours to handle issues or emergencies that arise.
    • Respond to emergencies or contingencies promptly by being on-site within one hour of official notification.
    • Maintain up-to-date records and reports on operational, financial, and service activities to ensure transparency and compliance with governmental reviews and audits.
    • Market activities, events, and services offered at Jake’s Place through appropriate media channels to increase participation and promote services to patrons.
    • Foster a welcoming and engaging community environment that aligns with the interests and motivations of individuals and groups at the installation.
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned that are consistent with the nature and level of the position.

    Required Qualifications:

    • A four-year degree from an accredited college or university with a major study in business management, food, hospitality, or a related field.
    • OR, at least three (3) years of general experience demonstrating knowledge of the goals, principles, methods, and techniques of food, beverage, recreation, and entertainment operations.
    • Additionally, the candidate must have five (5) years of specialized experience as a middle manager in a similar civilian commercial business role.
    • Strong understanding of food and beverage, hospitality, and recreation management principles, as well as customer service and event management techniques.
    • Experience managing operational budgets, controlling costs, and achieving financial performance targets while maintaining excellent service delivery.
    • Sound leadership skills, with demonstrable experience leading teams and managing daily operations in dining, entertainment, or recreation settings.
    • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide variety of customers and staff effectively.
    • Highly organized with excellent multitasking and time management skills to handle a variety of responsibilities and demands during high-paced operations.
    • Knowledge of safety, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures.
    • Proficiency with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and related software for managing inventory, sales, and financial reports.
    • Must be able to successfully complete and maintain all required training and certifications, including Customer Service, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, Food Safety and Sanitation, Alcohol Server Intervention Training and local emergency procedures training, with annual recertification as required.
    • Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
    • Passport should be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.

    Island Room Manager

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop and oversee operational processes and standards to maintain efficiency and high-quality service in accordance with contractual and performance requirements.
    • Supervise and lead staff responsible for food, beverage, and entertainment operations, providing direct oversight, training, and mentoring to ensure high-performance outcomes.
    • Coordinate the planning and execution of recreational events and activities to engage and cater to the needs and interests of patrons.
    • Ensure the Island Room maintains a welcoming, organized, and safe environment that meets guest expectations and adheres to established quality standards.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines for food and beverage service operations, including sanitation and hygiene requirements.
    • Monitor food and beverage costs and manage budgets to ensure alignment with financial goals.

    • In addition to the above, at least five (5) years of specialized experience as a middle manager in a similar civilian commercial business capacity is required.
    • In-depth knowledge and proven experience in managing food service, beverage, entertainment, and recreation operations with clear understanding of the interests and motivations of individuals and groups.
    • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with experience supervising staff and effectively delegating job responsibilities.
    • Proven ability to oversee operational budgets, control expenses, and achieve financial performance targets.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
    • Ability to organize recreational programs and coordinate special events to meet the needs of the installation’s personnel and community.
    • Knowledge of safety and health standards applicable to food service and general hospitality operations.
    • Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems, financial reports, and inventory control software.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Supervise daily operations to ensure that all hospitality, recreational, and entertainment services are effectively managed and meet customer satisfaction objectives.

    Medium Truck Driver

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    The Medium Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of medium-duty trucks to transport goods, materials, tools, or equipment for operational purposes. This includes compliance with all organizational, safety, and traffic regulations to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Operating medium-duty trucks to transport goods, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently within the operational area.
    • Loading, unloading, and securing cargo to ensure safety during transport and compliance with operational and safety requirements.
    • Inspecting vehicles daily to ensure roadworthiness, including performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with safety standards.
    • Maintaining accurate driver logs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery records as outlined by organizational policies and procedures.
    • Following planned transportation routes and adhering to time schedules for pickups, deliveries, and project support activities.
    • Reporting any vehicle maintenance issues, damages, or malfunctions to supervisors promptly for corrective actions.
    • Ensuring compliance with organizational and local traffic laws, as well as any applicable regulations related to vehicle operations on base or international locations.
    • Performing minor maintenance or adjustments as needed, such as checking fluid levels, tire conditions, and lights.
    • Ensuring cleanliness and proper care of assigned vehicles.
    • Communicating effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and operational teams to coordinate transportation needs and resolve any issues or delays.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Two (2) years of experience driving medium-duty trucks in an operational or industrial setting.
    • Valid driver’s license and proper endorsements for operating medium-duty vehicles (must meet local and/or U.S. licensing requirements).
    • Proven knowledge of vehicle safety standards and operational protocols for inspecting, loading, and driving medium-duty trucks.
    • Ability to read and follow maps, delivery instructions, transportation schedules, and safety guidelines.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must be able to transport loads weighing according to organizational policies and vehicle specifications.
    • Employees must read, speak, and comprehend English to the extent that they can perform the contract requirements and comply with installation emergency procedures.
    • Passport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
