    Hospital Administrator

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator with strong leadership and superb administrative skills.


    • Oversee the development and implementation of programs and policies for patient/ Customer services.
    • Overseeing the Marketing, Communication & Public relations functions, to maximize Hospital potential.
    • Responsible for Operational processes for strategic plan and projects
    • Serve as a liaison for Hospital Strategic partnerships
    • Practice financial acumen in managing budgets.
    • Inventory management: Ensure that pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical stock levels are adequate and orders are made on time.
    • Assist with recruitment, consenting, screening, and engagement of personnel.


    • To ensure success, hospital administrator should be a leader, mature Christian confident and professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills that will contribute to the efficient functioning of the healthcare facility.
    • Top candidate will be expected to work well under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to emergency situations.
    • Solid understanding of health industry, healthcare procedures and regulations; Strong analytical and decision-making abilities / timely judgments.
    • Possess basic accounting skills.
    • Good report writing and communications skills; excellent organizational and time management skills; Ability to supervise and train team members.
    • Hands-on experience with database systems and MS Excel.
    • Age range of 35 to 45 years; possess a degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
    • Four or more years of related work experience as a Hospital Administrator.

    Medical Officer

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly capable Medical Officer to manage our medical services, health providers team and to support hospital growth plans.


    • Practice management of Beacon of Hope, Hospital business and programs in a technology driven environment.
    • Provide Leadership and Strategic Management of Hospital inpatient and outpatient services.
    • Management of Health Community Outreach Services
    • Ensure quality controls and assurance of business and programs to sustain highest quality of care to customers.
    • Ensure Human Resource Management and development through mentorship and coaching of the team and medical students
    • Financial administration – Practice financial acumen in managing strategic plan budgets; program budgets and fund deployment. Prudent Procurement of commodities.
    • Administrative duties and risk management – Ensuring compliance with National healthcare regulations and safety standards.


    • Degree in Medicine & Surgery from a recognized University.
    • More than three years working post internship experience.
    • Must be Registered / Licensed by the Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board.
    • General competencies in Obstetrics, Pediatrics, medical, surgical, Outpatient care.
    • Competency and certification in emergency procedures e.g., ACLS, BLS, ATLS etc. will be an added advantage.
    • Excellent public relations and communication skills.
      Must have a professional Indemnity cover.
    • Proficiency in computer systems; Observational and analytical skills; Compassionate skills & Team player.
    • Advanced knowledge of medical research methodology and ethics. Ability to keep abreast of advancements in the health field.

    Nursing Officer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Management of Nursing and maternity services provided
    • Technical Support: Design and develop high quality patient-focused management systems to create demand for Outpatient services and Home based care services at Beacon of Hope
    • Support the development and implementation of Beacon of Hope’s business strategic plan for the Nursing Department.
    • Responsible for tracking and reporting on all Nursing services for outpatient and project input, processes, outputs, outcomes and impact.
    • Prepares the monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports for Nursing department.


    • Specialized Training/Professional Qualifications
    • Holds a in Nursing or diploma in KRCHN
    • Kenya Registered Nursing Officer with valid license
    • Leadership training is an added advantage
    • In depth knowledge of Adult, adolescent and children epidemiology and infectious diseases and treatment; Maintain a level of professional development through continuing education, quality improvement initiatives and sharing of knowledge;

    Demonstrate strong leadership skills maintaining high morale among staff; Ability to offer quality services at all times to all patients at the comprehensive care centre; Good spoken and written English and Kiswahili;

    Relevant Job Experience:

    • At least five (5) years relevant experience in a similar position.
