    Hydroponic Greenhouse Farm Managers / Agronomists

    Job profile: This role is responsible for the management of hydroponic greenhouse farms.

    Key Responsibilities

    • All aspects of management of a greenhouse farm from inputs, production to harvest Knowledge and skills required
    • Bachelors degree in Agribusiness / Agronomy / Agriculture;
    • Minimum 2 years’ work experience.
    • Technical knowledge of agronomy, agribusiness and hydroponic systems, production methods.
    • Knowledge of business and management principles.

    Key ResponsibilitIes

    • All aspects of plant feeding protocols and nutrient management

    Knowledge and Skills Required

    • BSC in Biochemistry or Analytical Chemistry plus an extensive chemistry coursework
    • Demonstrable ability in analytical skills as well as experience working in a busy farm environment;

    Logisticians / Farm Accountants

    Job Profile: The Logistician / Farm Accountant will oversee the supply chain management processes for the farm. He / she will also keep / maintain the farm accounts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and manage farm logistics,
    • oversee stores operations, inventory & controls, scheduling of workers,
    • spearhead adherence to safety rules,
    • Farm book keeping end accounting,
    • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and any other farm costs.

    Knowledge and Skills Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, accountir logistics or business administration;
    • Two years’ experience in accounting, logistics operations and stores management of an agricultural business as well as good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
