    Research Analyst

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Conduct research in order to identify new investment opportunities in specific industries which have potential for growth.
    • Prepare and conduct research roadshows working with the dealing team in order to showcase research capacity and support onboarding of clients
    • Continuous research and monitoring of macroeconomic factors that may affect the
    • Company’s performance such as interest rates and inflation.
    • Calculating risks and opportunity for current and future investments of the Company by monitoring price movements and market news.
    • Monitoring prevailing market trends and investment portfolios.
    • Providing well-researched financial models to aid decision making at the Company.
    • Making recommendations following review of current investment strategies as per prevailing market conditions.
    • Analyzing previous investments and providing the management with important lessons learnt for performance improvement.
    • Ensure all due diligence mandates related to the research desk are met
    • Generate reports pertaining to asset classes such as Equities and Fixed Income, as well as
    • reports related to sectors, macroeconomic trends, and opinion pieces derived from company publications.
    • Organize and provide Corporate Access to the Company’s clients as per their need and request
    • Liaise and interact with the clients’ research desks providing them with market intelligence that will support their decisions to invest through the Company
    • Equip and support the Wealth Management team with market research on Equities and
    • Fixed Income market as well as other asset classes
    • Generate required reports periodically and as required from time to time.
    • Support trading and sales teams during meetings with clients to provide information necessary for guiding investment decisions.
    • Any other duty as may be assigned by Supervisor or Management from time to time.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or any other relevant field.
    • Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role within investment banking or related fields.
    • CISI and CPA certification will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge in statistical tools such as SPSS
    • Knowledgeable in the use of Bloomberg
    • Understanding and interpretation of financial statements according to International
    • Financial Reporting Standards and generally accepted accounting principles
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Head of IT

    The overall responsibility involves managing the IT department and ensuring that the organization's technology infrastructure is functioning efficiently and effectively. The Head of IT is responsible for leading the IT team and ensuring that they have the resources and support they need to carry out their responsibilities.
    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Providing technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
    • Managing the company's network infrastructure, including configuring routers and switches, monitoring network performance, and ensuring network security.
    • Maintaining custom applications that support the company's business processes.
    • Managing the company's databases, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and data security.
    • Managing the servers, including installing and configuring operating systems, managing user accounts, and ensuring system security.
    • Assisting with procuring hardware and software for the company, including researching options, negotiating with vendors, and managing the purchasing process.
    • Training end-users on how to use new hardware and software, as well as providing ongoing training to ensure that users are using technology effectively and efficiently.
    • Developing and implementing IT strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
    • Managing the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including managing projects,
    • troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that systems are functioning optimally.
    • Ensuring that the organization's technology infrastructure is secure from external and internal threats.
    • Managing the IT staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
    • Developing and managing the IT department's budget, ensuring that expenditures are in line with the company’s financial goals.
    • Staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the IT industry, and identifying opportunities to improve the organization's IT infrastructure.
    • Working with other departments to ensure that the IT infrastructure supports their needs and helps them achieve their objective
    • Maintenance of the physical office access system and grant users rights as approved by HR or Head of Administration
    • Any other duty as may be assigned by supervisor or management from time to time

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or its equivalent
    • At least 5 years’ experience in IT leadership
    • Prior experience in investment industry is preferred
    • Relevant certifications: CISM, CISA, or similar certification
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management
    • Excellent knowledge of managing Enterprise Systems
    • Ability to handle complex IT support issues with minimal disruption of services

    Customer Service Executive

    Providing exceptional customer support and service to the Company's clients and visitors. The role holder is the primary point of contact for clients seeking assistance, information, or solutions related the services offered by the Company. The role is responsible for ensuring a positive client experience and enhancing client relationships.
    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information on investment products and services.
    • Provide clients with information and guidance on various investment products, including equities, fixed income and other products
    • Assist clients with account inquiries, including balance inquiries, transaction history, and account statements.
    • Investigate and resolve client complaints and issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate department when necessary.
    • Ensure all client interactions are documented in the Company's systems for reference and regulatory compliance.
    • Adhere to industry regulations, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money
    • Laundering (AML) requirements, while processing client requests.
    • Stay informed about changes in industry regulations and ensure clients are informed about relevant updates.
    • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell investment products and services to clients based on their financial goals and needs.
    • Generate and maintain reports related to client interactions, account activity, and service performance.
    • Receive and direct all visitors in the office ensuring they are attended to promptly and professionally.
    • Maintain the Reception area by keeping it tidy, well lit, comfortable and with all materials for the visitors available at all times
    • Assist in providing office entry security by ensuring details of visitors who come to the office premises are recorded and such record provided when needed
    • Support visitors exiting the office by providing exit access and ensuring the check-out requirements are observed
    • Manage the central phone system by receiving and directing incoming calls and assisting staff with outgoing calls where necessary
    • Receive, sort and distribute office correspondence and follow up for action where necessary
    • Any other duty as may be assigned by supervisor or Management from time to time

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in business related course
    • Certification by NSE for ATS
    • CISI Certification – Levels I & II
    • At least 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing role preferably in Investment Banking
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to handle customer complaints conclusively
    • Proficiency in using CRM systems
