We are seeking a Tipper Truck Operator who will be responsible for safely transporting, loading, and unloading materials like sand, gravel, or construction debris using the tipper truck. You will equally be expected to perform daily truck inspections, have the ability to manage the hydraulic tipping mechanisms, secure loads to prevent any spillages, adhere to Victory Farms’ site and safety regulations, and maintain accurate logs of tasks assigned. 

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Vehicle Operation & Safety: Safely drive and maneuver heavy vehicles, including reversing into tight spaces. He / she should adhere to the site-specific safety policies and the Kenyan traffic laws.
• Load Management: Ensure materials are loaded correctly, balanced, and within weight restrictions.
• Material Handling: Operate hydraulic tipping mechanisms for precise unloading.
• Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip safety checks (brakes, tires, lights) and report mechanical issues.
• Report keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery tickets, and fuel consumption records.
• Communication: Coordinate with dispatchers, site supervisors, and other personnel. 

Key Skills & Requirements

• Licensing: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Category E, Class CE – Articulated vehicles and heavy trucks with trailers
• Physical Ability: Capability to perform manual inspections and handle various weather conditions.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of vehicle mechanics and safe tipping procedures.
• Experience: Proven experience operating similar heavy machinery.

We are seeking a Dozer Operator who can operate bulldozers to move and level earth when constructing ponds or other materials at construction sites or other equipment operating environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• The dozer Operator will be responsible for mainly ponds, reservoirs and Road construction.
• Level sites, compact earthworks, do site clearance, excavate murram/gravel for construction.
• Clear and remove obstacles to pave way for installations.
• Follow Engineering plans to ensure accuracy in excavations and grading.

Equipment Maintenance:

• He will be responsible for daily pre-work inspections and after-work inspections and ensure that the equipment is in a safe working condition.
• He will carry out routine maintenance inspections to ensure that all fluids and oils are at the correct levels, and lubrication is done to all moving parts that have provision for greasing.
• Report any maintenance issues that require repairs for immediate action.

Safety and Compliance

• He must adhere to and observe work site safety requirements.
• Wear all safety protective clothing – PPE.
• Follow the relevant equipment operating procedures to avoid damage to the equipment and infrastructure.

Report Keeping and Reporting:

• He must record all daily work hours and fuel, and oils used.
• Document any incidents, repairs or maintenance activities.
• He must lock and park the equipment in a safe place at the close of work each day.
• Communicate with the Manager progress and any challenges that may arise at work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in operating bulldozers, particularly CAT D6 and D8 models, Komatsu etc
• Certificate in Heavy Plant Operation or a certificate in Mechanical Engineering
• Licensed Class G – for industrial, construction, and agricultural tractors/plants machineries and equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude: Ability to inspect the bulldozer and identify repair parts

We are seeking a Wheel Loader Operator who will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, transporting them to designated areas, and ensuring that all operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operation: Maneuvering the machine in tight spaces, on uneven terrain, and operating hydraulic controls to manipulate the bucket for loading/dumping.
• Material Handling: Efficiently loading trucks, hoppers, or conveyors while managing stockpiles.
• Maintenance: Conducting daily inspections of fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety devices (lights, seatbelts), as well as performing routine cleaning and minor repairs.
• Safety Compliance: Following all site safety regulations, operating within machine capacity limits, and wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communication: Coordinating with site supervisors, truck drivers, or plant operators to ensure smooth workflow. 

Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years of experience operating Wheel Loaders and understanding site plans.
• Certification: Valid, accredited certification or license to operate heavy machinery. Licensed Class G – for industrial, construction, and agricultural tractors/plants machineries and equipment.
• Skills: Strong hand-eye coordination, physical stamina, attention to detail, and ability to perform basic mechanical troubleshooting.
