    Assistant Manager

    Description

    Purpose:

    Assist the revenue assurance manager in implementing a fully functional revenue assurance function in the bank under finance department

    Scope:

    Revenue Assurance, General Accounting, data extraction, mining and analysis

    Qualifications

    Key Accountabilities:

    1. Conduct monthly interest income analysis
    2. Conduct monthly interest expense analysis
    3. Review all fees and commission reports prepared by the revenue assurance team
    4. Compile all the revenue leakage reports and communicate the same to relevant departments and branches.
    5. Follow up on closure of all the issues raised
    6. Fast track on total revenue leakage and recoveries done give an update on a monthly basis
    7. Prepare a weekly MD’S briefing
    8. Prepare a monthly CORC report
    9. Liaise with operations on need basis on process changes to help in curbing revenue leakages.
    10. Drive cost reduction, especially direct or product related costs in order to drive product, channel and segment profitability

    Required competence

    • A degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce or related field
    • A master’s degree in economics, finance or business administration will be an added advantage
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office suite and other visualization tools such as PowerBI
    • Knowledge in the below systems would be an added advantage:
      • Structured Query Language (SQL)
      • Oracle systems and database
      • Oracle analysis
      • Power BI
    • Good Knowledge of general accounting principle and practices
    • Highly developed written and verbal communication and presentation skills

    DevOps Engineer

    Description

    • Design and Govern a DevOps Strategy by recommending a migration and consolidation strategy for DevOps Tools based on MS Azure technology.
    • Working with QA, Developers and other teams, Come up with a Quality strategy, secure development process and tool integration strategy.
    • Implement DevOps Development Processes through an effective designing of version control strategy.
    • Write application deployment automation using industry standard deployment and configuration tools.
    • Implementing and managing build infrastructure and managing application configuration and secrets.
    • Implement Continuous Integration by managing code quality and security policies, implementing a build strategy including container builds.
    • Implement Continuous Delivery by designing a release strategy and setting up a release management workflow.
    • Implementing the relevant deployment pattern and scaling a release pipeline to deploy multiple endpoints (such as deployment groups, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure App Service).
    • Implement Application Infrastructure by coming up with an effective infrastructure and configuration management strategy, implementing infrastructure as code, managing Azure Kubernetes service infrastructure.
    • Implement Continuous Feedback by recommending and designing system feedback mechanisms, implementing process for routing system feedback to development teams and optimizing the feedback mechanism.

    Qualifications

    • Possess Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer science/Mathematics or a related engineering discipline
    • 2+ years’ relevant experience in developing DevOps solutions based on MS Azure technology.
    • Strong experience with Azure Administration and Azure development and expert in at least one of them.
    • Must be able to design and implement DevOps practices for version control, compliance, infrastructure as code, configuration management, build, release, and testing by using Azure technologies.
    • Good experience required on Azure including Kubernetes, Containers, Dockers, Web App, etc.)
    • Good experience with open source technologies, Linux, Helm, Nginx
    • Experience on third-party continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) systems is essential.
    • Ability to communicate complex technical requirements and information in an understandable manner to senior executives.
    • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and analytics techniques.
    • Certification in the Azure will be an added advantage (Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-103), Azure Developer Associate (AZ-203) and Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400))

    Service Desk Analyst-Bank Support

    Job Purpose: 

    The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for receiving, processing and resolution of ICT users’ incident reports and service requests and maintain 24×7 Operation.

    Qualifications

    Job Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

    • Receiving of service requests and incidents reports via phone, web, mail, or other authorized means.
    • Authentication of requester and of approvals where applicable.
    • Log in tickets.
    • Categorization of Service Requests
    • Prioritization of Incidents.
    • Qualifies Incident as covered by SLA.
    • Qualify that services are in the Service Catalogue
    • Logging tickets in the ticketing system take ownership and follow up to closure.
    • Assign tickets to the respective groups/ individuals.
    • Ensure Provision of the  incident report with ticket closure of P1 incidents
    • Resolution of tickets assigned and closure within the working shifts
    • Service Provision as per SLAs
    • To provide first level support to users with IT support issues.
    • Use available resources to resolve incidents (people, tools and processes).
    • Incident ownership, follow-up and closure.
    • Ensures that the Business Users agrees that the resolution provided addressed their needs prior to Incident closure.
    • Escalation of incidents and requests that require expert input directly to the Senior Service Desk Analyst and the SME.
    • Providing notifications input
    • Daily/shift reports as per shift responsibility.
    • Provision of the incident reports with ticket closure and Daily/shift reports as per shift responsibility
    • Teamwork

    Essential Knowledge

    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Proficiency in computing principles.
    • Prior experience working with Service and Incident Management applications such as Remedy, Smarts, Voyence, Spectrum, Siebel, Clarity, HP Service Management, Solarwinds or Clarify and other like OSS/BSS applications.
    • Understanding of NMS, Ticketing and Databases Tools.
    • Understanding of IT support tools.

    Requirements:

    • University degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1 years’ Service Desk experience.
    • Knowledge of Technical, IT, Service Desk systems and procedures
    • Candidate having experience in the hardware and software used by Equity Bank will have an added advantage.
    • Candidate should be able to solve different support problems including those that cannot be resolved using typical methods.
    • Candidates with ITSM (ITIL) Certificate / Trainings will have an added advantage.

    • Experience in designing solutions for hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud). Cloud certification is an added advantage
    • In-depth understanding of coding languages (Java, python, c#).
    • Sound knowledge of various operating systems (Linux, AIX, Solaris, Windows) and databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres and NoSQL DBs)
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
