Job Description

They seek to hire a well experienced Engineering Supervisor to supervise the staff responsible for plant maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for plant maintenance
2. Provide advisory assistance in regard to equipment and equipment needs and conditions.
3. Identifies staff development needs and trains the maintenance personnel in plant equipment maintenance and safety methods, procedures, and techniques for maximum productivity.
4. Maintain all equipment manuals, equipment warranties, and tool inventories.
5. Assist with the supervision of installation and commissioning of plant equipment.
6. Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
7. Work closely with the production Supervisor to review and prioritize work requests.

Skills & Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical (plant) engineering
2. A higher diploma in electrical or mechanical plant operations (KNEC)
3. Must have 3-4 years working experience in FMCG industry
4. Must be proficient in the use of MS Office suites of packages
5. Must be prepared to work in a shift arrangement.

Job Description

They seek to hire a well experienced Engineering technician who will perform maintenance and services of plant machineries, including installation, inspection, repairing, and testing of the equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installing, setting and adjusting equipment which controls production in the company
2. Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials
3. Participate in the installation, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
4. Organising and putting into practice repair and maintenance programmes for equipment and machinery
5. Diagnosing and repairing faults in equipment of various types
6. Assist with the supervision of installation and commissioning of plant equipment.
7. Looking for ways to improve manufacturing operations

Skills & Qualifications

1. Diploma in Electrical or electromechanical engineering or any related field
2. K.C.S.E. certificate minimum aggregate C –
3. At Least 2 years experience in a food processing plant.
4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
5. Excellent health and safety knowledge.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
