    Marketing and Analytics Lead

    The Marketing & Analytics Lead drives demand generation, growth, and market intelligence across Shamiri’s offerings by owning marketing strategy, performance analytics, and growth experiments. The role applies rigorous, data-driven marketing practices to expand reach, conversion, and revenue across B2B, B2C, and institutional audiences. 

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Growth Marketing Strategy and Execution

    Own end-to-end marketing strategy across Shamiri offerings, including:

    • clinics (B2C, B2B)
    • Academy and training programs
    • digital and technology-enabled products
    • institutional partnerships
    • Translate organizational priorities into channel-specific growth plans
    • Design and execute campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels
    • Manage messaging and positioning from a demand-generation perspective (distinct from brand communications)

    Demand Generation and Funnel Ownership

    • Own the full marketing funnel: awareness, lead generation, qualification, and conversion
    • Define target segments, personas, and value propositions
    • Collaborate with Business Development and Partnerships teams to align marketing with sales and outreach
    • Optimize landing pages, email campaigns, content funnels, and conversion flows

    Marketing Analytics and Performance Measurement

    • Define and track core growth metrics (CAC, LTV proxies, conversion rates, pipeline velocity).

    Build and maintain dashboards that track:

    • campaign performance
    • channel ROI
    • funnel drop-offs
    • audience growth
    • Use data to inform budget allocation and channel prioritization
    • Produce regular performance reports with clear insights and recommendations

    Growth Experiments and Optimization

    • Design and run structured growth experiments (A/B tests, pilots, channel tests)
    • Test messaging, pricing signals, channels, and onboarding flows
    • Document learnings and feed insights into broader growth strategy
    • Work with Tech and Data teams to instrument tracking where needed

    Market and Customer Intelligence

    • Conduct market research and segmentation analysis
    • Track competitor activity, benchmarks, and trends
    • Gather and synthesize user feedback and behavioral data
    • Develop clear market insights to support strategic decisions

    Business Development and Revenue Support

    Support Business Development and Academy teams with:

    • lead lists and targeting
    • market sizing and prioritization
    • pitch and outreach data
    • Collaborate on go-to-market strategies for new offerings
    • Support pricing and packaging analysis where relevant

    Systems, Tools and Workflow

    • Own marketing systems, including CRM, email tools, analytics platforms
    • Ensure clean data capture and reporting
    • Establish disciplined workflows for campaign planning, execution, and review
    • Coordinate with the Communications and Creative teams for asset production

    Ownership of Outputs and Accountability

    • Growth and performance of marketing funnels
    • Lead generation and conversion metrics
    • Campaign plans, execution, and performance reports
    • Market and customer insights
    • Dashboards and analytical outputs
    • Growth experiment design and results

    Key Competencies 

    • Strong analytical skills. Comfortable with data, metrics, and performance reporting
    • Ability to translate insights into clear strategic recommendations
    • Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing tools, and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, HubSpot)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Strong project management and systems thinking
    • Collaborative, with the ability to work across Business Development, product, and creative teams

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
    • 3–5 years in growth marketing, performance marketing, or a closely related role
    • Proven experience managing marketing funnels, from awareness through conversion
    • Experience building dashboards and tracking campaign performance metrics
    • Hands-on experience running growth experiments (A/B testing, channel pilots)
    • Prior experience in an NGO, social enterprise, or mission-driven organization
    • Exposure to B2B and B2C audiences is an advantage

    Associate- Research Knowledge Management

    Roles and responsibilities 

    • Scientific Writing, Publications & Dissemination 
    • Draft, edit, and prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals. 
    • Coordinate manuscript timelines, author contributions, revisions, and submissions. 
    • Prepare conference abstracts, posters, and presentations. 
    • Produce policy briefs, practitioner summaries, infographics, and evidence digests for non-academic audiences. 
    • Collaborate with the Communications team to develop public-facing research outputs. 
    • Knowledge Management & Documentation 
    • Maintain a structured repository of protocols, instruments, datasets, analyses, and publications. 
    • Ensure clear version control for research documents and study materials. 
    • Build and maintain systems for storing research artifacts and institutional knowledge. 
    • Oversee documentation for study decision logs, analytic memos, and learning notes. 
    • Internal Learning & Research Translation 
    • Synthesize research findings into accessible summaries for service delivery, clinical, tech, and product teams. 
    • Present insights in internal learning sessions and cross-functional meetings. 
    • Support development of training or decision-support materials informed by research. 
    • Translate technical results into actionable learnings for implementation teams. 
    • Research Partnership Coordination 
    • Serve as a liaison for academic collaborators, universities, and research institutions. 
    • Coordinate meetings, communication, and deliverables with partners. 
    • Maintain partnership documentation (MOUs, NDAs, data agreements). 
    • Track joint workplans, timelines, and co-authored outputs. 
    • Support onboarding of new research partners where needed. 
    • Scientific Quality Assurance 
    • Conduct QA checks on study protocols, consent forms, instruments, and SOPs. 
    • Ensure consistent use of measurement tools across studies. 
    • Maintain an audit trail of protocol deviations and corrective actions. 
    • Review drafts of study materials for clarity, consistency, and scientific accuracy. 
    • Cross-Study Harmonization & Research Systems 
    • Support standardization of research processes, instruments, and documentation across projects. 
    • Develop templates for study manuals, checklists, and research workflows. 
    • Collaborate with data teams to ensure consistent coding structures and metadata standards. 
    • Build or improve systems that make research more efficient (e.g., workflow tools, version control, trackers). 
    • Capacity Building 
    • Train junior staff, delivery teams, or enumerators in research documentation, ethics, and communication. 
    • Support internal workshops on scientific communication and protocol adherence. 
    • Grant & Reporting Support 
    • Draft or review sections of grant proposals. 
    • Prepare content for donor reports, progress summaries, and evidence updates. 
    • Ensure accuracy and alignment of reported research activities. 
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration 
    • Work closely with Delivery, Clinics, Tech, and Product teams to align research insights with operational needs. 
    • Participate in cross-functional working groups to ensure research is informing ongoing decision-making.

    Events Manager

    The Events Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of all Shamiri internal and external events, ensuring that convenings are strategically aligned, professionally delivered, and high impact for partners, staff, funders, and stakeholders. 

    Roles and Responsibilities 

    Strategic Ownership of Events

    Own Shamiri’s full events portfolio, including:

    • External events/webinars, conferences and summits
    • partner and funder convenings
    • government and stakeholder workshops
    • internal retreats, offsites, and staff convenings
    • Translate organizational priorities into an annual and quarterly events plan
    • Define objectives, audiences, and success criteria for each event
    • Ensure events align with communications strategy and organizational narrative

    Event Planning & Execution

    Lead end-to-end event planning, including:

    • timelines and workplans
    • budgets and cost tracking
    • vendor sourcing and management
    • venues, logistics, travel, and hospitality
    • Oversee run-of-show development and execution
    • Anticipate risks and troubleshoot issues proactively
    • Ensure events are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high professional standard

    Team Management & Coordination

    • Manage and mentor the Senior Associate – Events & Community Management
    • Delegate tasks clearly and ensure follow-through
    • Coordinate additional event staff, contractors, or volunteers as needed
    • Establish clear workflows, roles, and quality standards within the events team

    Creative, Content & Communications Coordination

    • Work closely with the Brand & Creative team to ensure event branding, materials, and visuals are on-brand
    • Coordinate with the Multimedia & Content Production Lead to capture event content (photo, video, audio)
    • Support Social Media and Communications teams with event-related content and timelines
    • Ensure messaging before, during, and after events is coordinated and consistent

    Leadership & Stakeholder Support

    Support CEO and senior leadership participation in events, including:

    • briefing notes
    • schedules and itineraries
    • coordination with hosts and partners
    • Serve as a key point of contact for external stakeholders related to events
    • Ensure post-event follow-ups, documentation, and commitments are tracked​​​​​

    Systems, Budgeting & Reporting

    • ​​​​​​​Develop and manage event budgets and expenditure tracking
    • Maintain event planning tools, templates, and documentation
    • Produce post-event reports summarizing outcomes, learnings, and follow-ups
    • Maintain an organized archive of event materials and records

    Ownership of Outputs & Accountability

    • ​​​​​​​Successful delivery of all Shamiri events
    • Event plans, timelines, and budgets
    • Quality and professionalism of execution
    • Management and performance of the events team

    • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, contracts, and event production timelines
    • Proven experience directly managing staff or contractors
    • Track record of delivering high-quality external-facing events involving senior leadership, funders, government officials, or strategic partners
    • Strong operational systems experience, including use of project management systems, budgeting tools, and CRM or event registration platforms
    • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with brand, partnerships, and executive teams
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of briefing materials and post-event reports
    • Experience working in mission-driven or high-growth organizations is preferred
