    Invoicing Clerk (36K)

    Salary budget:

    • Ksh 36,000

    Job description.
    Invoice and Credit Note Processing:

    • Generate invoices for all orders to customers and other SimpliFine outlets.
    • Capture orders and generate order confirmations
    • Generating and issuing invoices to customers.
    • Maintaining records of sent invoices.
    • Post and issue all approved credit notes

    Data Entry And Accuracy

    • Entering invoice data into the company’s accounting system.
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of invoices.
    • Ensuring data accuracy and completeness of all documents.

    Discrepancy Resolution

    • Receive all Proof of Delivery (PoDs)
    • Check and identify any discrepancies and refer discrepancies for resolution.

    Record Keeping

    • Maintaining historical records by filing documents e.g Invoices, PoDs and other relevant documents
    • Retrieve filed documents when required

    Customer Service

    • Communicating with customers and internal departments to resolve issues

    Other Tasks

    • Generating sales data reports including invoice reports.
    • Supporting financial staff and auditors.
    • Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

    Requirements

    • Diploma/ degree in accounting or relevant business field.
    • A minimum of one years’ experience of invoicing in an FMCG environment.
    • Exposure to an ERP environment preferably Navision.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

    Finance & Operations Assistant ( 42K)

    Salary budget:

    • 42,000 per month

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Finance and Operations Assistant to support our client’s finance and operational functions. This role involves handling accounting tasks, supporting compliance, coordinating logistics, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Post transactions in the accounting system accurately and timely.
    • Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, Instalment Taxes, WHT) via iTax.
    • Manage petty cash and maintain proper records.
    • Monitor and manage debtors, including conducting on-site collections when necessary.
    • Coordinate and follow up with internal auditors.
    • Review travel budgets and verify supporting documentation.
    • Assist with bank correspondences and reconciliations.
    • Handle registration with regulatory bodies (e.g., Pharmacy and Poisons Board).
    • Provide audit support and maintain compliance documentation.
    • Coordinate with freight agents for clearance and logistics.
    • Follow up with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
    • Prepare and submit tenders accurately and on time.
    • Support daily order processing and banking activities when required.
    • Maintain organized and up-to-date company records and filing systems.
    • Conduct stock reconciliations and periodic stock takes.
    • Monitor stock levels and plan to avoid stockouts.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • CPA Section 2 in progress is required.
    • Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
