Senior IT Governance Analyst will act as the central point for developing, maintaining, monitoring and enforcing IT policies and procedures. The role will review existing process alignment and compliance and ensure adoption of industry best practice ( COBIT 5). The role will participate actively in the activities of all IT Governance and IT strategy focus areas: Value Delivery, Performance Management, Risk Management, IT Planning, Project Management, Enterprise Architecture and Business Continuity. The role requires the ability to motivate and drive IT teams to understand the value of policies and adhere to procedures and process requirements.

Job Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

• Develop a plan and brief for IT Governance assessment as per COBIT 5 guidelines
• Conduct overall IT governance assessment as per Cobit 5 guidelines
• Conduct assessment for IT operations and identify process gaps and compliance gap.
• Define IT operations GAP as per industry best practice
• Define process and compliance GAPs from the assessment
• Hold feedback sessions with the process owners.
• Report on the gaps identified during assessment
• Classify the GAPs based on relevance, risk and time (High, Mediam, Low)
• Define high level roadmap of process definition and GAPs closure
• Define high level roadmap of process definition, roles, skills and gaps closures.
• Implementation of process GAPs closure
• Report on GAP closure
• Identify process that needs to be improved as per best practice
• Hold stakeholder sessions to discuss the process improvement needs
• Take actions to ensure the process is improved
• Report on the progress of the process improvement
• logging, tracking & solving issues within IT that need to be addressed besides the process
• Governance and COBIT assessment. The issues may arise from different areas such as
• Finance, Audit, compliance, process clarification, risk etc
• Validate IT invoices & ensure that payments are aligned to business value and the right cost center and are within the contracted Amount. Timely processing of payments to avoid penalty as result of late payment, avoid double payment of expenses/  support invoice payment tracking: Update ad report  as and when required update

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Participate (with Commercial & Risk Management team) in the application and deployment of data policies and processes and their continued enforcement to include areas such as workflow for data ingestion, data quality, master data and data life cycle management. Ensure that data quality guidance and direction is applied throughout the entire data lifecycle, most importantly upfront, through the vision and roadmaps for solutions that seek to leverage data and data services.
• Ensure that all data assets which are subject to the governance processes within the Data office are addressed
• Support the development and maintenance of an end to end data lifecycle management approach
• Responsible for applying data governance framework including the management of data, operating model, data policies and standards as well as the application of clearly defined data management definitions for use across the Data Office
• Apply a data governance framework, with a focus on continued improvement of data quality and strict adherence to the agreed Trust and Classification processes.
• Follow the guidelines related to data governance and data quality and ensure clear accountability. In addition, he/she will have a key role working with various stakeholders across the organization to achieve the goals defined in the data governance and data management strategies.
• Deliver status updates on data quality by updating a Data Quality dashboard

• Operate data remediation plans where data fails to meet required standard: Operational Management and Decision Making Responsibilities:
• Monitoring data quality process, identifying data quality issue patterns, applying remediation plans, implementation of data controls, and manage data quality remediation strategies.

• Manage the team providing regulatory compliance support to Equity Group and subsidiaries

• Oversee regulatory compliance by the business by undertaking gap analysis, recommending and advising on appropriate remediation on the gaps in the bank policies;

The Database Administrator(DBA) is responsible for the  performance, integrity, and security of the Bank’s information systems’ databases. The DBA provides technical expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of database management systems that support Bank’s business and operations. Additional responsibilities include reporting, data input and output, technology management, and end-user training and support. Is responsible for configuring, monitoring, performance tuning, cloning, troubleshooting, and patching the Oracle EBS system.

• Performs Oracle E-Business Suite EBS Applications database administration (DBA) tasks including patching, creating backup and recovery strategies, upgrading, performance tuning/optimization of Oracle EBS systems for recoverability, security, confidentiality, and integrity to ensure that:  (a) EBS applications and database configurations meet Oracle ERP goals, Oracle EBS requirements, and Banks standards; (b) patches are applied on a timely basis; (c) data integrity and security are maintained; (d) backups are performed as scheduled or deemed necessary; and (e) upgrades are made.

• Recommends changes and participates in the implementation and follow-on management of upgrades or replacements.
