    Peacebuilding Technical Lead

    Purpose of the role

    Faith to Action Network seeks to recruit a Peacebuilding Technical Lead to manage and provide technical support in Faith to Action Network’s pluralism & peaceful co-existence, freedom of religion and belief (FORB), interfaith cooperation and collaborations projects. S/he will be responsible for project planning, management, monitoring and evaluation and ensure smooth, cost effective, efficient and timely implementation of Faith to Action Network interventions including integration of conflict-sensitivity approaches, and operational and administrative activities. The position will be responsible for providing technical, programmatic and administrative assistance to Faith to Action Network implementing partners and members, and build their institutional capacity. S/he will contribute to strengthening partnership and knowledge networks within and outside Faith to Action Network.

    This is a full-time position based in Nairobi and the salary is competitive and commensurate with the seniority of the appointment.

    Communications & Movement Building Lead

    Purpose of the role

    Faith to Action Network seeks to recruit a Communications & Movement Building Lead to manage and provide technical oversight in the implementation and delivery of all communication strategies and movement building work.

    The Communications & Movement Building Lead will develop, implement and monitor a communications strategy to increase Faith to Action Network’s global visibility. This entails coordinating the production of all written materials, managing network convenings, and public events, and coordinating all media work.

    The person will also develop, implement, and monitor a movement-building strategy, which aims at building a vibrant relevant movement through Faith to Action Network members. This position expands the depths and breadth of our network, engaging current and new network members, coordinating the network’s member hub system & focal points, and coordinating activities for the benefit of our members.

    The Communications & Movement Building will be expected to serve in both technical and operational roles, which includes traveling to the field to meet with members to provide technical assistance to implementing partners and ensure smooth continuity of communication activities. S/he will also be expected to initiate collaboration between key stakeholders, represent Faith to Action Network at external meetings and work directly with donors and partners to support communication activities.

    Gender Justice Technical Lead

    Purpose of the role

    Faith to Action Network seeks to recruit a Gender Justice Technical Lead to manage and provide technical support in Faith to Action Network women’s rights and gender justice projects.

    The Gender Justice Technical lead will be responsible for the technical and financial management of Faith to Action Network’s women’s rights projects, monitoring, and reporting. The position will be responsible for providing technical, programmatic, and administrative assistance to Faith to Action Network implementing partners and members, specifically as regards gender-based violence, women’s participation, women’s rights, and gender justice.

    The Gender Justice Technical lead will be responsible for strengthening and mainstreaming of gender equality and women’s rights issues within all Faith to Action Network interventions. The position will develop Faith to Action Networks’ institutional capacity to address issues of women’s rights, gender justice, women’s participation, social inclusion, and gender-based violence through project implementation approaches.

    S/he will contribute to strengthening partnership and knowledge networks within and outside Faith to Action Network.

    SRHR Technical lead

    Purpose of the role

    Faith to Action Network seeks to recruit a SRHR technical lead to manage and provide technical oversight in the implementation and delivery of Faith to Action Network’s SRHR/FP projects.

    The SRHR technical lead will be responsible for technical and financial management of Faith to Action Network’s SRHR project, monitoring and reporting. The position will be responsible for providing technical, programmatic and administrative assistance to Faith to Action Network implementing partners, specifically with family planning and reproductive health inputs.

    The SRHR technical lead will also be responsible for providing technical leadership for improving FP technical components in increasing availability of family planning services, and increasing awareness and acceptance of family planning in Kenya. S/he will work with the project’s partners and stakeholders to facilitate project activities, inputs into the overall project as required.

    The SRHR Technical lead will be expected to serve in both technical and operational roles, which includes traveling to the field to meet with partners to provide technical assistance and ensure smooth continuity of the project activities. S/he will also be expected to initiate collaboration between key stakeholders, represent Faith to Action Network at technical meetings and work directly with donors and partners to support project activities.

    Grants and Compliance Officer

    Purpose of the role

    The Grants and compliance officer role will strengthen partner policies and financial management processes to ensure that resources are used more effectively, efficiently, and equitably. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with donor rules and requirements, and that the implementation of projects aligns with organizations set standards and policies.

    S/He will be responsible for donor financial reporting timeliness, quality, and accuracy, ensuring that the financial reporting is in line with the program activities and that the program budget is expended in line with the donor requirements and expectations.
