    Assistant Product Manager

    Duties And Responsibilities

    Hotpoint Appliances Limited has an exciting career opportunity in our Product Management & Sourcing Department. We are seeking for talented, dynamic, self-driven and results-oriented individual who is committed to excellent performance and participating in our growth strategy.

    Job Purpose

    • To lead the sales and marketing process and strategy for specific products (TVs, Home Theatres, Subwoofers, Voltage Protectors, Cables and Brackets).
    • To optimise revenue generation for the specific product line to meet business objectives.

    Job Responsibility and Accountability

    • Complete responsibility for the development of the product portfolio
    • Develop a strategy for the product portfolio
    • Evaluate and develop sales through various channels – Retail, Online, Wholesale, and B2B
    • Ensure product portfolio is relevant to the market based on local and global trends
    • Maintain and update rolling forecasts for all products in line with sales & inventory levels
    • Negotiate with suppliers for specifications, prices, terms and promotions
    • Resolve any quality issues with suppliers to get timely support and rectification
    • Maintain inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
    • Have full product knowledge and impart the same to the sales team.
    • Execute timely promotions based on supplier discussions, channel requirements and inventory positions.
    • Prepare annual budgets based on strategic goals.
    • Have a HOW TOs strategy to achieve the budgets on a monthly basis
    • Create and update training materials.
    • Assist in conducting regular product training.
    • Assist with market survey reports.
    • Analyze distribution channel sales data and provide detailed reports on the same.
    • Advice the sales team on stock situations as and when required.
    • Assist in the development of sales promotions and other portfolio related marketing activities
    • Resolve any service issues from dealers.
    • Ensure correct pricing and descriptions of the products in the category.
    • Ensure website listing of products is active and accurate.

    Skills And Qualifications

    Qualification and Experience

    • Minimum qualification of a Diploma in business management or any other relevant field.
    • Previous experience of at least 3 years in a business development/planning role. Preferably in a similar industry.
    • Extensive knowledge of the retail market sector and consumer electronic products.
    • Have a passion for technological development and understanding of electronic product trends
    • Understanding of developing order forecasts and plans
    • Extensive financial & value chain knowledge.
    • Track record of team building and strategy implementation.

    Sales Engineer

    Duties And Responsibilities

    Job Purpose

    • To push sales for HVAC products and conduct site surveys.
    • To develop and maintain a good relationship with the clients.

    Job Responsibility and Accountability

    • Conduct Site survey and design of air conditioning and ventilation engineering systems for residential and commercial applications.
    • Sales and Marketing of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems and installation.
    • Sending quotations out promptly.
    • Negotiating with clients to close on sales.
    • Build and maintain a project pipeline.
    • Aware of all new developments in the area that may require HVAC.
    • Quality and accurate tender application for efficient air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
    • Market intelligence – to study the market and be aware of competitor prices and activities in the market.
    • Send weekly and monthly reports as per the requirements of management.
    • Maintain excellent relationships with all key stakeholders – Consultants, Architects and key clients.
    • Be aware of all HVAC new upcoming projects in the market.
    • Provide exemplary service to clients and ensure repeat business through client’s satisfaction.
    • Work as part of a team and assist colleagues whenever necessary.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned to you by your supervisor from time to time.

    Skills And Qualification

    Qualification

    • Minimum qualification of BA or Bsc. Mechanical Engineering or any other related field.

    Experience

    • Previous HVAC experience in a sales role in the same industry for at least 3 years.
    • Extensive knowledge of HVAC installation principles/practices required.
    • Highly motivated, self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision.
    • High sense of urgency.

    Internal Audit Intern

    Duties And Responsibilities

    Hotpoint Appliances Limited has an exciting career opportunity in the Internal Audit Department. We are seeking for talented, dynamic, self-driven and results-oriented individual who is committed to excellent performance and participating in our growth strategy. 

    Job Purpose

    The purpose of the role is to provide guidance on financial accuracy, internal controls and regulatory compliance, with the guidance of the internal Auditor Lead.

    Job Responsibility and Accountability

    • Assist in audit assignments as directed by the supervisor.
    • Performing physical stock takes as directed by the supervisors.
    • Assist in drafting audit reports for every completed audit/ review.
    • Preparing audit programs as directed by the supervisor.

    Skills And Qualifications

    Qualification, Critical Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
    • CPA Part 3 holder and or CPA K.
    • Experience working with a diverse team.
    • Ability to meet strict reporting deadlines and working under minimal supervision.
    • Experience working in a commercial environment will be an added advantage.
