    Operations Officer - Marketing

    • As an Operations Officer you will be a key figure in overseeing the daily operational activities of the marketing department. This role entails managing routine marketing tasks, coordinating with vendors and suppliers in collaboration with the procurement team, optimizing workflow efficiency, and effectively managing marketing resources and budgets. 
    • You will primarily responsible for ensuring that marketing activities are executed efficiently and effectively, aligning with the department's and company's goals while meeting established standards.

    To achieve this, you will:
    Oversight of Routine Marketing Tasks:

    • Manage the procurement, dispatch, and end-to-end delivery of marketing materials.
    • Manage internal department marketing requests, ensuring they are logged, assigned, and tracked.
    • Ensure the proper execution of day-to-day marketing activities based on the established strategy.

    Vendor Collaboration:

    • Work closely with vendors and the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality and brand-compliant marketing materials.
    • Foster effective communication channels to guarantee a smooth flow of information and requirements with related departments.

    Maintenance of Work Process Flows:

    • Coordinate information and requirements with various departments to maintain efficient workflows.
    • Ensure alignment with marketing strategy and timely execution of tasks to meet organizational objectives.
    • Proper documentation of processes adopted for efficiency.

    Marketing Stock Management:

    • Generate and share monthly stock status reports, initiate stock replenishments with approval from the Marketing Lead.

    Data Management:

    • Conduct surveys under the supervision of the Marketing Lead to collect feedback on processes and deliverables, with the goal of ensuring satisfaction among requesters.
    • Use data to make strategic decisions aimed at improving operational efficiencies.

    Experience:

    • 3+ years previous experience in operations, project management, or a related commercial function, preferably within a B2B environment. 
    • Familiarity with operational systems as well as quick to learn internal systems.

    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Ability to oversee and coordinate marketing tasks from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, solve emerging issues, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

    Process Improvement:  

    • A track record of identifying inefficiencies in processes and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

    Strategy and Operations Analyst

    As the Strategy and Operations Analyst will use M-KOPA’s internal data resources and external customer data to uncover and share insights and inform business decisions throughout the company. The Analyst combines technical skills, creativity, and business acumen to improve the understanding of our customer, the market, and company, deliver on operational data processes and increase transparency and accountability. Analytical findings and actionable recommendations are communicated clearly and concisely to the business, with follow-on support to ensure the proper measurement and evaluation. 

    To achieve this, you will:

    • Proactively identify opportunities where analysis can drive valuable business and departmental results. 
    • Collect user requirements on key analytic/reporting needs for key departmental data needs. 
    • Query data from various internal and external databases using database languages (e.g., SQL, U-SQL)  
    • Clean, interpret, analyze data, and build models using various statistical techniques. 
    • Build models, analysis, and transformations on internal data using Excel, SQL and R Test and QA code to ensure high-quality analysis.  
    • Design user-friendly, clear, and impactful presentations of analytic findings. 
    • Improve and streamline technical and business processes. 
    • Work within the department and other support functions to ensure we are enabling data-driven decision making on the most important business questions. 
    • Participate in product, customer and sales agents’ surveys as needed. 

    Experience:

    • 3+ years in data analytics roles, including strong experience doing analysis using excel and querying using SQL.
    • Strong field research experience as a lead added advantage.  
    • BSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Mining, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields preferred but not required.
    • Preferred additional skills include R, Python, DAX, and/or PowerBI or other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) 
    • Good working knowledge with MS Office packages such as MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel.
    • Excellent communication skills, discussing and describing data related analysis and ability to work across functions and geographies. 
    • Agility – able to work in a fast-moving environment with frequent change and a sense of urgency. 
    • High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance. 
    • Ability to work independently as well as in larger teams. 
    • Experience and a high capacity in managing multiple problems and assignments at the same time and delivering high quality outputs.
