Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Teach a maximum of ten(10) lessons a week in the subject of specialization.
- Work with the School Leader to articulate a compelling short- and long-term vision for the development of the school’s culture and for academic programs.

Students
- Manages the students’ government programmes including elections, induction, training, activities and offboarding (primary owner)
- Manages student behaviour by maintaining a school behaviour tracker, documenting and closing out incidents, following the school's code of conduct while working with parents and teachers
- Provides safe channels for students to share feedback/ideas and address their concerns
- Manages the student happiness survey process (scheduling, administration, data analysis and leveraging data to improve students’ experience).
- Leads student mentorship/buddy programmes to strengthen student relationships
- Provides structures for celebrating students who are living and leading NP Culture
- Coordinates student onboarding. Onboard new students and orient continuing students to new expectations as they progress from one level to the next
- Owns the implementation of the contents of the Student Code of Conduct handbook and related policies
- Coordinates the school’s daily routine, ensuring all schedules are clearly mapped out and implemented.
- Manages student class and house allocation
- Manages daily attendance taking and absence records

Parents
- Coordinates the planning and management of parent events, fora, seminars, orientations and open days.
- Coordinates 1:1 and group parent meetings aimed at improving student behaviour and community culture.
- Leads parent communication and serves as the first point of contact on parent queries and concerns.
- Manages the family and student satisfaction survey process (scheduling, administration, data analysis and leveraging data to improve students’ experience).
- Onboards new families and offboards families exiting the school.
- Works with Administrative staff and Admissions to coordinate and track new enrollments/ joiners.
- Coordinates beginning of year student onboarding activities such as Week Zero.
- Manages termly gating for school fees.
Academic & Student Affairs Teams
- Coaches teachers on managing student behaviour and building student character.
- Is the primary owner of Student Leadership Development: Creates plans and systems for teaching student leadership development to Novaneers, including supporting rollout with teachers, training and development for teachers, and observation and feedback on implementation.
- Coaches and manages the Student Affairs team that comprises the School Nurses, School Counsellors and other direct reports
- Works with the School Counsellors and teachers to create individual student behaviour plans and student support plans.
- Coordinates school duty rotas and other relevant student life experiences (non-academic) e.g. health and safety; school culture e.g. transitions; safety drills e.g. fire drills, etc.
Central Functions & Support Teammates
- Is the student data champion on the school enrolment register, Ed-Admin, Class Dojo, and other student data systems.
- Serves as point person for Operations and other support teams on campus
- Works with the Admissions team to track enrolment and student class allocation.
- Supports PFS and Finance in physically gating students from class/school until their balances are settled or a payment plan is completed.
- Ensuring that all students and their parents have signed the student/parent handbook and keeping the signed handbook in record.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Work with the Associate Dean of Students to create a vision for the swimming program and invest stakeholders in the vision.
- Oversee the in-house and regional swimming relationships and ensure the school is scheduled for all competitions.
- Create new and support existing partnering by reaching out to schools and other relevant places to seek friendlies and other joint events.
- Plan and supervise swimming galas, external competitions, manage external competition registration, and accompany students for external swimming galas
- Develop a strong school team to represent the school in competitions.
- Develop a training program for all the training sessions in accordance with the school guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications required:
- Registered and active member of the Kenya Swimming Federation.
- Holder of Kenya Swimming Federation Level 3 coaching certification above.
- You possess a Lifesaver certification.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar position working with swimmers.
- You have basic first-aid training
- A relevant degree/diploma/certificate in Physical Education or Sports/ Recreational Science is desirable

ABOUT THE ROLE
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable.
- Plan and execute appropriate activities for the children each day according to the curriculum, schemes of work and lesson plans
- Developing, reviewing and updating schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the school curriculum in partnership with your line coach and the Curriculum Development Manager.

- Observe and evaluate each child’s progress and provide a written report to the Principal, other school leaders and parents.
- Monitor and keep record/ reports of the children’s progress and development
- Instruct students individually and in groups, adapting teaching methods to meet students' varying needs and interests
- Assimilate arriving children to the school environment by greeting them, helping them remove outerwear, and selecting activities of interest to them.
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior, and policies and procedures to maintain order among students.
- Plan and supervise class projects, field trips, visits by guests, or other experiential activities, and guide students in learning from those activities.
- Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence.
- Assist in bus loading and unloading

- You have a TSC certificate
- A relevant degree in Education/ P1 Diploma/ P1 Certificate
- Previous training/qualification or experience in teaching the Cambridge curriculum is an added advantage.
- You have 3+ years teaching experience.
- You have good working skills with technology such as Word, Powerpoint and Excel
- You are a great communicator. You are able to provide clear and effective written and verbal communication.
- You are flexible and open to change - you handle uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity well.

- Teach and deliver exceptional, real world, enquiry-based Business Studies/ Mathematics lessons that align with the Kenya curriculum requirements.

- Serve as teacher on duty and/or boarding teacher on duty and support school wide programs aimed at behavior interventions.
