    Project Officers ICT Systems

    (EAP-K/2022/PP/01)

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Project Manager, and working under Component III Coordinator, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

    1. Assisting in the development of ICT systems as per user requirements.
    2. Contributing to the system development cycle including functional specification for developers, service provider management, testing and roll out.
    3. Preparing ICT documentation including user/training manuals and system configuration manuals.
    4. Contributing to the setting up, implementation, and stress testing of the business continuity and disaster recovery systems.
    5. Preparation of reports to the Component Coordinator, including task reports and incident/system uptime reports
    6. Ensuring ICT Systems and infrastructure uptime.
    7. Performing system backups and restoration tests.
    8. Configuring and Maintaining the Network and Internet security.
    9. Performing Network and security intrusion tests and implement gaps.
    10. Tracking and maintain records of all ICT assets.
    11. Providing technical support for all ICT infrastructure and users’ training.
    12. Performing maintenance/servicing of ICT systems and infrastructure, including cleaning, upgrades/updates and monitoring.
    13. Assisting in management of ICT systems’ access rights
    14. Adhering to, sensitise and contribute to the development of the company’s IT security policies, standards and procedures.
    15. Undertaking other ICT duties as may be assigned.
    16. Performing any other assignments related to ICT or as maybe assigned including supporting the delivery of other project components.

    Minimum Requirements

    1. Bachelors in IT or Computer Science or a related field from a recognized institution.
    2. A certificate or training in software programming/ networking/ ethical hacking/ systems security/ project management/ IT Service management will be an added advantage
    3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
    4. At least one (1) year internship or relevant experience
    5. Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of the Constitution of Kenya

    2. Show initiative and ability to work with people;
    3. Organization skills and ability to apply technical expertise;

    Project Officers, Digital Marketing and Public Relations

    (EAP-K/PP/02)

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Project Manager and working under Component V Coordinator, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

    1. Supporting in generating editorial content for special publications, Social Media posts, and internal & external newsletters to promote awareness of KENAS
    2. Carrying out activities that enhance KENAS brand visibility through education, sensitization programs, billboards, advertising, publicity and marketing activities
    3. Assisting in coordinating, planning and management of KENAS stakeholders’ forums, exhibitions, advocacy and education campaigns, corporate social responsibility activities.
    4. Assisting to draft, distribute and pitch press release/media advisory writing, editing, distribution, and media outreach and prepare media reports on assigned subjects.
    5. Compiling and updating media contact lists
    6. Drafting and organizing website and social media content to promote KENAS blogs, videos and media coverage on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
    7. Creating and coordinating content for social media campaigns and observances
    8. Monitoring and researching influencers, trending topics and tools.
    9. Responding to customer enquiries, feedback and complaints both online and physical.
    10. Assisting in Photography and videography activities, scheduling and coordinating of photo/video shoots
    11. Undertaking other Marketing Communication duties as may be assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

    1. Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, Commerce, Marketing Option; International Business, International Relations and any other relevant discipline; from a recognized institution.
    2. Experience in Photography, digital communication through social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and use of Google analytics
    3. Knowledge of research, content creation and management, and media relations
    4. Trained in visual arts or studio, digital media strategies and implementation is an added advantage
    5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
    6. At least one-year internship or relevant experience; and
    7. Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya;

    • Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
    • Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
    • Clearance from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
