    Tour Consultant - Nairobi

    The Tour Consultant is responsible for planning, selling, and coordinating both local and international travel packages. This role ensures clients enjoy seamless and memorable travel experiences by managing inquiries, preparing customized itineraries, confirming bookings, and overseeing tour execution from start to finish. The Tour Consultant acts as the key link between clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
    Key Responsibilities

    • Tour Planning & Sales
    • Develop customized travel itineraries and cost-effective quotations based on client needs and preferences.
    • Handle client inquiries efficiently and provide expert advice on destinations, activities, and travel options.
    • Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings through strong sales techniques and exceptional customer service.
    • Stay informed about destinations, accommodation options, attractions, and tourism trends.
    • Reservations & Tour Operations
    • Coordinate and confirm bookings with hotels, transport providers, guides, and other suppliers.
    • Ensure all itinerary details are accurate and well-coordinated across service providers.
    • Prepare and manage client documentation, confirmations, and payment schedules.
    • Monitor service delivery to guarantee smooth and successful tour execution.
    • Client Experience & Relationship Management
    • Maintain regular communication with clients before, during, and after travel.
    • Manage itinerary changes, special requests, and complaints in a professional manner.

    • Administration, Reporting & Team Coordination

    Qualifications & Experience

    Travel & GSA Manager - Aviation

    As a Travel & GSA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s corporate travel program while ensuring full compliance with GSA, FAR, and DFARS regulations applicable to U.S. government contracts. This role manages travel policy, vendor relationships, cost controls, and audit readiness, serving as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, travel vendors, and government contracting authorities.
    Key Responsibilities
    Corporate Travel Management

    • Develop, implement, and enforce corporate travel and expense policies
    • Manage travel booking platforms and expense systems (e.g., Concur, SAP, Egencia)
    • Negotiate and manage airline, hotel, and car rental agreements
    • Monitor travel spend, cost savings, and traveler compliance
    • Ensure duty of care, traveler safety, and emergency response protocols
    • Prepare travel spend analysis and executive reports

    GSA & Government Compliance

    • Manage GSA Schedule contracts and related modifications
    • Ensure travel costs comply with FAR, DFARS, and GSA travel regulations
    • Review travel expenses for allowability, allocability, and reasonableness
    • Maintain audit-ready documentation for OIG, DCAA, and internal audits
    • Coordinate responses to government audits and compliance reviews
    • Serve as liaison with GSA Contracting Officers and government agencies

    Policy & Process Alignment

    • Align internal travel policies with federal contracting requirements
    • Train employees on compliant travel and expense procedures
    • Partner with Finance, Contracts, and Legal teams to mitigate compliance risk

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
    • 8+ years of experience in corporate travel management and/or government contracting
    • Strong working knowledge of GSA Schedules, FAR, and DFARS
    • Experience managing travel and expense systems
    • Proven audit and compliance management experience
    • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

    Supply Chain Manager

    Job Roles & Responsibilities
    Supply Chain & Production Planning

    • Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with plastics manufacturing operations.
    • Coordinate demand forecasting, production planning, and material requirements planning (MRP).
    • Ensure continuous availability of raw materials such as resins, masterbatches, additives, and packaging materials.

    Procurement & Supplier Management

    • Source local and international suppliers for polymer raw materials and spare parts.
    • Manage imports of resins and additives through the Port of Mombasa and other approved entry points.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers to optimize costs.
    • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

    Inventory & Warehouse Management

    • Oversee raw material, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory.
    • Implement inventory control practices to minimize waste, obsolescence, and stock-outs.
    • Manage warehouse operations in compliance with safety and environmental standards.

    Logistics & Distribution

    • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including transport of bulky plastic products.
    • Coordinate distribution to customers across Kenya and the East African region.
    • Optimize freight costs, fleet usage, and third-party logistics providers.

    Compliance & Regulatory Management

    • Ensure compliance with Kenyan regulations including KRA, EAC customs, KEBS, NEMA, and environmental standards related to plastics.
    • Manage statutory documentation for imports, exports, and audits.
    • Support sustainability and recycling initiatives aligned with company and regulatory requirements.

    Cost Control & Performance Management

    • Prepare and manage the supply chain budget.
    • Track KPIs such as material availability, production downtime due to shortages, inventory turnover, and logistics costs.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

    Systems & Continuous Improvement

    • Use ERP/MRP systems for procurement, inventory, and production planning.
    • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
    • Support automation and digitalization of supply chain processes.

    Team Leadership

    • Lead and develop supply chain, procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams.
    • Enforce safety, quality, and performance standards within the department.
