    Field Operator - Wireline

    As a Wireline Operator you will receive established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on wellsite activity performs basic duties at the wellsite and at the shop. Performs maintenance, job preparation, tool pre-job and post-job checkouts, tool maintenance, rigging up and rigging down according to the HSE requirements.

    As a Wireline Operator, you will be responsible for:

    • Carrying out preventative maintenance and operation of a range of wireline winches and surface equipment.
    • Conducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, applicable processes and cultural pillars. Following established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on wellsite activity, performing basic duties at the wellsite and at the shop.
    • Preparing equipment and working knowledge of the Permit to Work system prior to operations commencing. Assist in the preparation of risk assessments.
    • Assisting in the delivery of TCP operations. Assist in the rig up of TCP equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Repairing and maintaining all pressure control equipment under supervision.
    • Assisting in pre-operational checks of wireline unit and associated equipment
    • Assisting in the maintenance of down hole tools, basic well head maintenance.
    • Assisting in the preparation of reports for both onshore and offshore use. Ensure all applicable quality and operational procedures as identified in Company manuals are always adhered to.
    • Ensuring all functions are performed in accordance with Company safety and environmental procedures.
    • Ensuring all environmental procedures are always adhered to. Attend Client QHSE meetings.

    • Have a sound mechanical aptitude.

    Completions TRS Crew

    • As a Drilling TRS Crew Member, you will be working at the heart of rig operations, supporting tubular running activities that are fundamental to well construction. You will be operating mechanical and hydraulic TRS equipment, assisting with rig‑up and rig‑down, and ensuring safe handling of casing, tubing, and related tools.

    As a Drilling TRS Crew Member, you will be responsible for:

    • Operating TRS equipment such as power tongs, elevators, slips, spiders, torque‑turn systems, and hydraulic power units safely and professionally.
    • Assisting with rig‑up and rig‑down of TRS equipment, including stabbing boards, power units, and tubular handling tools.
    • Communicating effectively with the drill floor operator, clients, and subcontracted personnel to ensure coordinated and safe operations.
    • Performing basic troubleshooting, inspections, and minor maintenance of TRS equipment before, during, and after operations.
    • Ensuring compliance with all safety requirements, attending rig safety meetings, and reporting hazards or operational issues immediately.
    • Completing job documentation, activity reports, and supporting operational tasks as instructed by the Operations Coordinator.

    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Have general knowledge of the oil and gas industry with prior TRS or drilling‑related field experience preferred.
    • Have strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools safely and correctly.
    • Have the ability to work and communicate effectively with rig crews, supervisors, and clients in high‑pressure environments.
    • Have a two‑year technical degree (preferred) or an equivalent combination of technical training and field experience.
    • Have strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to follow procedures, inspect equipment, and maintain operational readiness.
    • Have the ability to travel for onshore/offshore assignments and work variable schedules, including on‑call and shift‑based operations.
