As a Laboratory Technician you will be responsible for:
- Applying of scientific research and development in a lab environment
- Executing routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision.

- Completing basic fluid testing (laboratory)
- Facilitating the receipt, loading, unloading and moving of stock materials by forklift to support business activities
- Preparing shipments to be dispatched to field locations or to customer sites

As an Application Engineer, you will deliver flawless execution through involvement in pre-planning, job execution, and post-job analysis. This position works seamlessly together with the Service Delivery Coordinators and other resources across organizational boundaries to ensure all aspects and constraints of the applications are understood and have been considered.
As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
- Working with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesperson to understand the client’s well construction or production objectives.
- Design well profiles and perform applications engineering task including risk mitigation plans and contingency plans, that can meet the client’s objective(s), maximize revenue potential and ensure future job assignments for Baker Hughes
- Working on Field Incidents related to products/services.
- Participating in Incident Investigations when required, ensuring the end to end process.
- Providing sales support and product application recommendations.
- Handling special projects as required.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Have minimum 5 years of experience in Well planning/ Applications engineering roles within Drilling Services.
- Be able to speak and write in English (advanced level).
