    Dispatch Clerk

    Your Role

    As a Dispatch Clerk, you will ensure timely and correct dispatch of products to customers according to delivery schedules and maintain an effective system for monitoring stock loading as per load manifests with matching barcodes and physical quantities.

    What You Will Do

    • Manage accurate and efficient stock transfers during loading of trucks from the loading bay
    • Receive and prepare work orders, monitor jobs in progress and inform personnel about any logistic problems, updates or customer concerns
    • Monitor stock movement into the trucks, verify load and documentation, and then sign off with the driver and security
    • Continuously monitor and schedule work to crews
    • Dispatch vehicles in accordance with internal procedures
    • Ensure that all relevant procedures, SOPs and routines are followed and adhered to in line with company policy
    • Any other tasks as required by your supervisor

    What You Will Bring to KOKO

    • Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
    • 1+ year of work experience in a busy distribution set up
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
    • Attention to detail
    • Good computer skills (working knowledge of ERP preferred)

    Fuel Planning Assistant

    Your Role

    As Fuel Planning Assistant, you will play a supporting role to ensure KOKO Points remain stocked with fuel at all times and without any quality incidents. You will work closely with KOKO’s Commercial, Operations, and Engineering teams to drive optimal use of Depots, Micro Tankers, and related technology and software for timely, safe, and error free deliveries.

    What You Will Do

    • Deliver results on key performance indicators (KPIs), including hours of operation per MicroTanker per day, hours of operation per STS/SDS per day, deliveries per MicroTanker per day, and total litres delivered to KOKO Points per week
    • Ensure daily fuel plans are scheduled and executed in a timely fashion and in line with fuel demand
    • Liaise with other members of the Fuel Logistics team for planning and preparation of loading and delivery of KOKO Fuel to Agent shops
    • Ensure effective and prompt communication to driver operators to ensure a smooth running of day-to-day operations, including timely feedback and resolution of field incidents and other issues reported by driver operators
    • Analyze daily operational performance to identify opportunities to improve operations of MicroTankers and KOKO systems and communicate these suggestions to relevant KOKO/VEK teams for resolution
    • Monitor and ensure effective reporting on daily fuel inventory levels, movements, and quality
    • Coordinate receipts and loadings at VEK service stations and manage daily report reconciliation sign off
    • Maintain interface with the Network Operations department to report and resolve technical issues

    Customer Sales Team Leader

    Your Role

    As Customer Sales Team Leader, you will drive KOKO’s business growth by leading a team of Customer Sales Representatives (CSRs) to sell KOKO Cookers in assigned territories. You will use your leadership skills and drive to create sales plans, coordinate field sales activities aimed at household and kibanda customers, and motivate your team of CSRs to achieve their sales targets.

    What You Will Do

    • Oversee field sales activities for your team, including initiation of contact with potential activation partners (eg, businesses, chamas), conducting of sales pitches, closing of orders, and collection of customer payments
    • Lead a team of CSRs to meet their sales targets by providing coaching, supervision, and accountability
    • Organize and implement product demonstrations and other promotional activities in liaison with KOKO's sales and marketing teams
    • Engage with customers and discover their wants and needs, both to pitch KOKO's solution and share back customer requirements for future sales and marketing efforts
    • Ensure sales records and reports are accurate and up-to-date for your entire team
    • Train and develop CSRs to use KOKO sales tools, including our Android application, videos, brochures, and other digital tools
    • Ensure CSRs communicate openly and honestly with KOKO customers throughout the sales process
    • Build, manage, and maintain strong, positive customer relationships
    • Escalate customer queries, issues, and other feedback to senior management, as appropriate

    • 3+ years of sales management experience, preferably with consumer goods or durables
    • Experience leading sales promotions/campaigns with a track record of success

    Warehouse Clerk

    Your Role

    As a Warehouse Clerk, you will be responsible for accounting for physical stock of finished products and ensure best practice in stock management systems to enable traceability and accurate picking, and avert any stock losses and damages within and around the warehouse.

    What You Will Do

    • Manage accurate stock transfers during the receipt of inbound shipments into the warehouse and in to loading
    • Monitor stock movement in the warehouses, ascertain effective product tagging, and ensure issuing procedures are followed at all times
    • Supervise the picking of products to loading ensuring that loaders adhere to the picking lists generated from the system
    • Facilitate stock movement in the warehouse and verify proper arrangement of stocks for ease of stock count and independent verification
    • Check that the warehouse is regularly cleaned and maintained
    • Ensure that all relevant procedures, SOPs and routines are followed and adhered to in line with the company policy

    Driver

    Your Role

    As a KOKO Driver, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner by providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.

    What You Will Do

    • Conduct inspection of vehicles before departing to deliver goods
    • Pack and load products according to company specifications and load manifest
    • Deliver orders safely to customers on assigned routes
    • Maintain ongoing communication with fleet supervisor, agents, and dispatch team
    • Unload accurately as per client specification and manifest
    • Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
    • Any other tasks as required by your supervisor

    What You Will Bring to KOKO

    • 5+ years of experience as a truck/commercial vehicle driver
    • Possession of a clean BCE-class license for 5+ years
    • O-Level education (at minimum)
    • Certificate of good conduct
    • Knowledge of Highway Code and regulations
    • Ability to make sound decisions at all times, including in emergency situations
    • Discipline to comply with applicable laws and regulations
    • Skill to diagnose and fix minor issues with the truck
    • Awareness of the condition of the vehicle, road, and traffic
