You’ll work on projects that are typically longer term, more tangible, and with greater focus on leadership and coaching of client teams.
You will work exclusively with governments, donors, and senior leaders in civil service on transformational challenges in economic development by building capabilities, overseeing transformation, and delivering policy solutions.
You will analyze data to identify opportunities and drive performance. As an Associate, you will co-create performance targets and milestones with clients.
You will set up and manage project management systems to track performance, and you’ll also have the chance to strengthen your specific technical/sectorial expertise to offer specialist delivery support to clients with targeted needs.
You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in and lead internal knowledge building initiatives and contribute to industry conferences and workshops.
Qualifications
Undergraduate & advanced degree in Medicine / Engineering / Oil & Gas / Agriculture / Economics or related disciplines with an excellent academic record required
5+ years of experience in industry/development-consulting style position or working in a public or social sector institution
Experience working in Africa is a strong plus
Demonstrate sound reasoning and critical thinking skills
Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English. French speaking proficiency an added advantage.
You will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy tapping into and optimizing efforts across a variety of channels and tactics required to meet the Forward program objectives.
You will plan for and manage the Forward digital marketing campaigns across various geographies - including web, SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, influencer activations, display advertising and others. You will also set the strategy and manage the agencies executing the campaigns or where relevant execute the campaigns internally.
You will lead regular brainstorming and strategizing sessions to come up with creative growth strategies for different markets and put them in action. You will drive effective ROI measurement, report on the performance of all marketing strategies and extract relevant insights.
You will also manage the marketing budget and make decisions on optimizing budget across various strategies and markets.
You will be responsible for maintaining Forward’s digital presence, working with colleagues around the world to produce and promote engaging website, media and social media content.
You will manage and regularly reach out to a relevant database of organizations, learners, alumni, and key opinion leaders. You will grow this database and maintain up to date outreach toolkits, emails, and other collateral.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
10+ years of experience in a relevant digital marketing role including delivering performance-based campaigns with lead generation KPIs
Creative thinker and agile problem-solver able to quickly suggest and deliver new campaign strategies based on expertise and data-driven insights
Excellent ownership skills and high level of drive and initiative and a true self-starter
A team-builder and collaborator. Evidence of an outstanding ability to build strong, durable communities and networks
Proven project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects at a time, large and small. Well-organized and attentive to detail. Hands-on experience managing multiple agencies
Superlative oral and written communications skills, with a demonstrated record of writing communications materials (messaging, Q&A, statements, etc.) in English
