    Site Foreman

    Position Summary:

    • Oversee daily production operations and ensure work is performed according to plans. 
    • Assign tasks and monitor the performance of production workers. 
    • Ensure adherence to production schedules and report progress to the plant manager.

    Key Performance Areas 

    • Inspect work to ensure it meets quality and production standards. 
    • Address and resolve any technical or operational issues on-site.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality assurance guidelines.
    • Enforce safety protocols and ensure all workers comply with occupational health and safety regulations. 
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement risk mitigation measures. 
    • Investigate and report any incidents or accidents on-site.
    • Monitor and coordinate the use of raw materials, tools, and equipment. 
    • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of necessary supplies. 
    • Minimize material wastage and maintain accurate inventory records. 
    • Provide guidance, and motivation to workers to enhance productivity.
    • Foster a positive work environment and resolve conflicts among team members. 
    • Communicate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and production managers. 
    • Maintain daily logs of site activities and production progress. 
    • Prepare and submit reports on work completed, issues encountered, and resource usage. 
    • Ensure proper documentation of operational processes and improvements. NB/ and any other duty or responsibilities assigned to you. 

    Qualification and Experience. 

    • Diploma or certification in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 
    • Minimum of 1 year(s) of experience in production site supervision. 
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
    • Knowledge of production processes, materials handling, and workplace safety regulations.
    • Ability to read and interpret production schedules and technical instructions. 
    • Proficiency in using production management software is an added advantage

    Accountant

    • Manage the accounts payable and receivable Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers and ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions.
    • Assist the Administration officer in the day to day finance and administration duties. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Posting and processing Journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded in the ERP Reconcile general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
    • Secure financial information by completing database backups and keeping information confidential.
    • Provide financial status information by preparing daily / weekly / monthly sales reports and manage cash flow and prepare monthly cash flow projections.
    • Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures complying with all statutory requirements.
    • Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail, analyzing and reconciling retainage and accounts payable ledger.
    • Match Invoices with Purchase Order (if applicable) Send invoices to Manager for payment approval Schedule pay runs based on standard company payment terms
    • First point of contact with creditors chasing payment of invoices Verify and process employee expense claims and manage the approval and payment process
    • Support the month end process by providing supporting documentation for month end journals Maintain and update the SRM tracker (Supplier relationship management) with accurate supplier information and payment details.
    • Preparing an analysis of accounts and other monthly report Reconcile bank statements Continuous improvement of the payment process Maintains stock lists and orders office supplies as needed.
    • Undertake regular stock counts NB/ and any other duty or responsibilities assigned to you. Reports. Debtors report Creditors report Bank reconciliation journal Payment Vouchers P & L Cash flow Statement Balance Sheet Any other report requested

    Requirements:

    • Diploma in finance, accounting, or mathematics or equivalent
    • Previous work experience as a credit controller. Good understanding of the legal complexities of debts, payment plans, and interest rates.
    • Proficient in Accounting and Office software. Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to deal with problematic clients. Speed in closing of tasks. Interpersonal aptitude.

    Production Supervisor/ Plant Manger

    Position Summary

    • Oversee daily manufacturing operations 
    • Supervise daily production activities to ensure targets are met efficiently
    • Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow to meet deadlines. 

    Key Performance Areas 

    • Implement cost-effective manufacturing processes. 
    • Manage and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals.
    • Conduct training programs to enhance team skills and productivity. 
    • Enforce workplace discipline and resolve conflicts among employees. 
    • Ensure all products meet company and regulatory quality standards. 
    • Work closely with the quality control team to address production issues. 
    • Implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality output. 
    • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the production area. 
    • Conduct safety training and implement risk mitigation strategies. 
    • Maintain compliance with industry standards and government regulations. 
    • Monitor raw material inventory levels and coordinate with procurement. 
    • Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and production costs. 
    • Analyse production data to identify areas for process improvement. 
    • Prepare and submit reports on production performance and efficiency. 
    • Assist in implementing new technologies and automation where necessary. NB/ and any other duty or responsibilities assigned to you. 

    Qualification and Experience.

    • Bachelor’s degree in production management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
    • Proficiency in production planning and inventory control
