    Sales Associate - Nairobi

    About the Role

    We are expanding our franchise network, by identifying and selling our sanitation products and services. We are looking for Sales Associates who will be responsible for customer acquisition and retention and leading the sales and customer life cycle in informal urban settlements within  Nairobi e.g. Mukuru, Kibra, Kwa Reuben, etc.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Meet established sales targets, goals and quotas within the assigned territory.

    • Generate new leads every month.
    • Ensure that 80% of the new leads generated are converted.
    • Ensure 100% retention of the new customers’ month-on-month.

    Market & Customer Expansion

    • Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the assigned sales area.
    • Mapping and data collection to enable validation of a specific market territory.
    • Maintain contact with clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
    • Keep clear records of customer details in alignment with our client processes to ensure adherence.

    Support and operations 

    • Report any operational issues within their sales area.
    • Execute sales support processes to expedite the conversion of sales (FLR, issue GR forms, training, lease agreement signing).
    • Ensure 100% FLRs are conducted accurately.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma/ Degree in any related field of study
    • Demonstrated capacity to convince customers to purchase and demonstrable experience in handling multiple customer demands
    • Comfortable to work in informal settlements of Nairobi e.g. Mukuru kwa njenga, kwa reuben, Kibra, Korogocho, etc.
    • Above average communication skills and interpretation skills (English and Swahili required)
    • Good interpersonal skills, attentive to detail, and strong problem-solving.
    • Flexible and adaptable, ability to perform tasks without repeated instructions, demonstrate sound work ethics.

    Sales Agents - Eldoret

    About the Role

    The objective of this role is to expand our franchise network, by identifying and selling our sanitation products and services. The Sales Associate is responsible for customer acquisition and retention, leading the sales and customer life cycle – including generating leads, pursuing opportunities, closing deals, managing the resulting customer relationships, and collecting future recurring payments. The ideal candidate should be currently residing within Eldoret.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Meet established sales targets, goals, and quotas
    • Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the assigned sales area
    • Maintain contact with clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
    • Undertake careful record-keeping processes
    • Mapping and data collection to enable validation of a specific market territory
    • Execute sales support processes to expedite the conversion of sales (FLR, issue GR forms, training, lease agreement signing)
    • Ensuring successful tenants & Operators training and launch of all new FreshLife Toilets
    • Ensure 100% collections of monthly service fee payments
    • Report any operational issues within their sales area

    Key Result Areas

    • Actual sales made compared to the sales targets
    • Generate new leads every month
    • Ensure that 80% of the new leads generated are converted
    • Ensure 100% repayment of all monthly service fees
    • Ensure 100% FLRs are conducted accurately

    Qualifications

    • Minimum qualification – KCSE Form 4 completed, a diploma in sales is an added advantage
    • 2+ years’ experience working in a business, organization or youth group set up
    • Must be living within the region or willing to relocate at own cost (This role is based in Eldoret)
    • Must have a proven track record of high performance in pervious employment or assignments
    • Must be fluent English and Kiswahili
