    Account Manager (SACCO)

    • We are looking for a results-driven Account Manager to lead our IT sales efforts in Kenya. In this role, you will be the bridge between our technology solutions and our clients’ business goals, managing the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to final payment collection. If you have a knack for building lasting partnerships and a proven track record in the East African IT sector, we’d love to have you on the team.

    Responsibilities

    • Managing Existing Customer Accounts.
    • Developing additional business opportunities in the assigned accounts
    • Developing new targeted accounts
    • Managing the complete sales cycle right from prospecting, relationship management, up to payment collections
    • Working on the sales target and reporting on a quarterly basis to attain the sales target
    • To manage the relationship between the customer and the company.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer expectations are met.
    • Help customers solve difficult business challenges by aligning our value proposition with their business objectives.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Minimum 2 years of work experience in the area of IT.
    • Products & Services Sales. Minimum 2 years of Account Management experience.

    Candidate Profile

    • Work experience in the area of IT Products & Services Sales.
    • Minimum 5+ years of Account Management experience is a must.
    • Working experience in working in East Africa will be an advantage.
    • A proven track record in sales is a requirement.

    Junior Presales Consultant

    • The Junior Presales Consultant supports enterprise sales engagements by designing robust, future-ready infrastructure solutions that integrate on-premise virtualization, container platforms, and hyperscaler cloud environments. The role works closely with sales teams, engineering teams, and technology vendors to translate complex enterprise requirements into clear technical architectures, competitive commercial proposals, and winning tender responses.
    • The consultant will contribute to solution design for enterprise data platforms, hybrid cloud infrastructure, container orchestration environments, and modern AI-ready data stacks, ensuring performance, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.

    Responsibilities.

    Hybrid Infrastructure Architecture

    • Design end-to-end hybrid solutions combining on-premise virtualization environments such as VMware and KVM with hyperscaler landing zones across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
    • Support the development of scalable infrastructure architectures that enable enterprises to operate seamlessly across private and public cloud environments.
    • Develop technical solution documentation explaining architecture decisions, scalability models, and deployment approaches.

    Modern Data Infrastructure Design

    • Architect infrastructure platforms optimized for enterprise database workloads, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
    • Support the design and sizing of infrastructure required for emerging data platforms such as Vector Databases used in AI and machine learning workloads.
    • Ensure storage performance, compute sizing, and network architecture align with high-throughput data processing requirements.

    Container Platform Engineering

    • Support the design of enterprise container platforms built on Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
    • Design cluster architecture including storage orchestration through CSI (Container Storage Interface) and namespace-based multi-tenant environments.
    • Work with engineering teams to ensure container platforms integrate securely with enterprise storage, networking, and security frameworks.

    Commercial Presales Engineering

    • Develop detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) that accurately reflect the infrastructure required for proposed solutions.
    • Prepare pricing spreadsheets and cost models that support competitive yet profitable proposals.
    • Collaborate with procurement and vendor partners to obtain pricing, technical validation, and configuration recommendations.

    Tender & Proposal Development

    • Support the preparation of RFP and tender responses by developing technical architecture narratives, diagrams, and infrastructure specifications.
    • Create professional architecture diagrams that clearly communicate complex migration, modernization, or hybrid cloud strategies.
    • Ensure proposals align with both client requirements and vendor best practices.

    Vendor & Strategic Partner Engagement

    • Work closely with technology partners including infrastructure vendors, storage providers, and cloud platforms.
    • Leverage vendor relationships to obtain technical guidance, architecture validation, and preferred pricing structures.
    • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies across cloud, data platforms, virtualization, and container ecosystems.

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 1–4 years of experience in presales engineering, infrastructure architecture, systems engineering, or enterprise IT solution design.
    • Exposure to enterprise infrastructure environments, including virtualization, storage platforms, or cloud environments.
    • Experience working in systems integration, enterprise technology consulting, or IT services environments is an added advantage.
